regarding autoscale in future winuae releases
can there be autoscale enabled with null filter disabled as with this option off my cpu gets at only about 40percent.And games work perfectly with no freezing not like when null filter is enabled my cpu gets almost 100percent.

No. Did you disable on screen leds and tried other display buffer settings? (remember to restart winuae completely after changing it!)

filter horiz.-vert. position values
When not using autoscaling but using instead a Direct3D bilinear filter I noticed that the horiz./vert. position values seem to be different than before in order to have a centered screen.
I suppose that this must be a bug rather than a feature. Just thought I should mention it... |

![]() To quote our WinUAE magician: "NOTE: D3D/OGL filters do not yet work correctly..." I believe that particular quote did relate to autoscaling, hrmes; but Toni has frequently explained that the D3D and OpenGL are often the first things to be broken. Someone else (perhaps Toni himself) would have to confirm if that's the case here, however. As it at least seems it could be connected, I thought it worth explaining in case you're not aware of Toni's earlier posts and so that you know that it may not be a problem as such. |

I suspected that this bug was caused when autoscaling was added but I wanted to make sure that Toni is aware of this anyway.

http://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae_1600b9.zip
Beta 9: - flickerfixer improved, also first and last line glitch fixed, sprite positioning fixed. Now interlaced WB is rock solid. - "Flicker fixer" renamed to "Remove interlace artifacts" (it really isn't same as flickerfixer or scandoubler) - led transparency removed, it read from display ram which caused huge slow down - artifact removal broke autoscaling - am and sm debugger commands merged to single M command - bitplane disable debugger command added, Mb <enabled planes> [<if disabled plane, show it as all zeros or as all ones>] - automatic, transparent clipboard sharing! Data in Windows clipboard is automatically copied to Amiga clipboard.device unit 0 and vice versa. Only text-based content currently supported. OS2+ only. - REPEAT NOTE: D3D/OGL filter is still broken. Do not use. |

I have a problem that started in 1600b8 and continues in b9. It's caused by the "Remove Interlace Artifacts" being on, on wasn't the default in b8 so I didn't notice. This effects both NTSC and PAL native modes. 640x200 works fine, 640x400 doesn't, with autoscale on and off. The screen shots are NTSC 640x200 and 640x400 with autoscale off. The log file is coming up in RTG, and then switching to 640x400 NTSC with autoscale off.

just download the hd version of slamtilt http://www.back2roots.org/Games/Files/Slam%20Tilt%2C2/
unzip the archive use quickstartup : a1200 ;4 mb fast ram ; default config ; mount the dir "SlamTilt_AGA" start the emulation , from the amigados prompt, type "game.exe", it will launch slamtilt and let it run, wait a moment (less than 60 sec) winuae will freeze (bug) ,no message, just the screen freezing and the sound loop, must be stopped by task manager. worked well with beta 8 |

I've noticed exactly the same issue today. Tried some WHDLoad games with Gamebase Amiga (WHDRun) and all freezed with a looping sound. No problems with beta 8.

Yep, ADF games are fine. Only the WHDLoad games causes the trouble. Haven't tried any HD-DOS games.

Only with "Remove interlace artifacts" enabled? (if yes, that should have been quite obvious option to test..)
