Time for Aaron and Boat to check out another Amiga platformer. There's lots to collect, a dodgy weapon mechanic and oh so many colours!

Is that Zippy from Rainbow we see? Why is he there?

The week ARG span the wheel and were tasked with looking at CDTV titles.

The Commodore CDTV looked at home stacked with your VCR and audio equipment. It was basically an Amiga A500 with a CD drive so it SHOULD have been capable of some great games.

This week Aaron and Brent take a look at 2 games you won't have played on a regular Amiga, take a look at their review [ Show youtube player ]

Did/do you own a CDTV and what was the best game on the platform? How about Defender of the Crown 2?

Very nice.

I like the system, though never owned one. What would you say is its best piece of software? Just in case the CDTV is ever selected again.

Does you squad have lasers? If not why not? Then you too can be a Laser Squad.

It's time for Boat and Aaron to check out another Julian Gollop game. If you want to see what they think in full check this out : [ Show youtube player ]

For the audio only versions of all the Amigos podcasts take a look here : https://anchor.fm/amigospodcast

Do you agree with the final judgement?

Psycho Killer is defiantly the best game on CDTV. Dangerous Streets and Franko are a close second.

I was joking naturally. The CDTV is a Amiga 500 so the best games on the 500 would be the best games on CDTV.

That is the shame of the situation. There should have been some amazing things possible with the addition of a CD ROM. No more storage limitations.

They're games folks but not as we know it!
It's time for another Public Domainia, where Boat and Aaron take a look at some freebie games for the Commodore Amiga. Star Trek and Mr. Men Olympics.

You can join the crew and see the full show here: [ Show youtube player ]
Both of this these games look slick but how do they play?

The guys also talk about Amiga Addict, the new Amiga Magazine coming from the UK. First issue is available for pre-order now and you can find more info here https://www.simulant.uk/shop/amiga-addict-magazine

What sort of content would you like to see in a new Amiga magazine?

A Mario Kart clone on the Amiga? Well, no not really but it tried. Boat and Aaron are looking at the Amiga CD32 version of Bump N Burn this week.

See the full review and this weeks Amiga News here: [ Show youtube player ]

Or forget the visuals and engage your ear holes only here: https://anchor.fm/amigospodcast

Mario Kart used the SNES’s mode 7, Amiga doesn’t have that so this went with a tweaked Lotus style engine, was that the right move?

It is Amigos time once more and this week let’s take a look at Bill's Tomato Game. You wouldn't normally associate a Tomato with a physics game but it works here!

See the full review and this weeks Amiga news here: [ Show youtube player ]

As always the audio version is available: https://anchor.fm/amigospodcast

We get two different opinions on this one, which do you agree with?

Hide the good plates and make sure the pets are secured away. It is time for the big one, it's Atari ST Vs Amiga 500.

See the full battle here: [ Show youtube player ]

Actually, this doesn't degenerate into the playground fights we knew. It's a civil look at the strengths and weaknesses of both systems.

Which side do you stand with? I'm guessing Amiga going by which group we are in!

An exciting past time or a good walk ruined? Nick Faldo must have thought the former.

See John and Aaron's review of Nick Faldo's Championship Golf : [ Show youtube player ]

Or catch the audio version here: https://anchor.fm/amigospodcast

Also covered in this show is an interesting way to get an HDMI output from your Amiga's Denise chip (with a little help from a Raspberry).

What do you think of the classic Codemasters adventure formula? No walking eggs here, Seymour is more of a potato.
