I hope we'll get it till 27.
Not that I am not a patient boy but we have a game festival here and we always are invited as the retro part. So at 28-29 I really want to demonstrate it, 20-30K visitors every year. |

I watched mcgeezer's longplay the other day and then, right after, I just clicked to watch rygar longplay from MAME and instinctively thought "oh, why does it look so bland". And then I immediately went "Amiga, YESSSSSSS!"
So, yeah, kudos geezer, it's awesome what you did! |

No offence to Graeme / invent as I know the graphics had to be toned down but the Arcade graphics are slightly more vibrant / colourful ![]() I compare both versions often directly via MAME and WinUAE. Will take screenshots of both so you can see what I mean... You must have watched a dodgy video vulture. |

ooooohhh... now this could be a case of taste!
The Amiga version has better backgrounds as we play to it's strengths but the arcade has more foreground colours. I'd be interested on others views on it.... (not that I can do anything about it ofcourse). |

I prefer Rygar AGA, but I'm a bit biased

It's like asking if you prefer Cirgin-Cola, Poca-Cola or Vepsi-Cola.
Of course it's Rygar AGA ![]() |

I think I'll ask the PPA what they think?

Yup, maybe it's a matter of taste, but not for me.
You can clearly see that the colours are a lot more vibrant in the Arcade version. Just compare the dragon, trees, lava etc... As already mentioned, I understand why they are slightly "washed" out in the Amiga version though. The colours had to be reduced as an Amiga definitely cannot handle as many as the Arcade can for the palette etc. |

Not really, just pointing out the obvious and it was a response to this post which implies the total opposite (which IMHO isn't true):

D, I get what you're saying, but -I guess- those delicious gradients do it for me!

Oh the gradients are definitely an improvement over the Arcade version
