I think given that the latest Amiga TOSEC stuff is now hosted there; the EAB File Server is probably more popular than ever

I can't think of anywhere else on the internet to find this; hence why I assisted in getting it across for all EAB.

Personally, it's very handy for me when I'm not at home and don't have access to my HDDs...

I found some issues from a CD compilation circulated in Hungary back in the end of the 90s (created by an Amigan called LouiSe as far as I can remember - he also developed a great dictionary software called LSDictionary released on CD that I also have) titled AmiCD or Amiga PiratED CD, I have no. 2 and 13 to 22. I will have to check whether they are readable. I also have cover CDs for issues 1 to 4 of Hungarian Amiga magazine Amigavilág (including full games like PSV Manager). Do you have any of these already uploaded or shall I go ahead, check and upload them?

Correct =) It has been a 20 user limit for at least 6 months (edit: more then a year). Previously I had it at 100 users but then the average speed went down to about 30k/sec (if it got full which never happened). I figured it was better with 20 users and an average speed of 2-300k/sec (when full) =)

That, and there are ALWAYS at least one person on, with 2 connections, leeching the whole FTP for some reason. That takes even longer now when we added the TOSEC package of course.

I think people also forget that there's a second host where everything is replicated to... We should all try to use this also

Hello Guys! I wanted to upload some new rarities, but Total Commander always said, that it can`t build a data Connection. Invalid Argument. Has anyone an idea?

you made a user account of your own already?
IIRC you must make a folder with your name in the Uploads folder,
then you can upload into it.

if you fail with totalcommander try filezilla, does work here.


#1) just saw all your folders are already there, and you did upload in the past.
so it is upto Turran to check your problems

If some time has found, finally, again to upload other rarities here. Because original Disk images including Scans, original CD images including Scans and soundtracks / radio plays of Amiga games (MC/cassette) in MP3 (320 kBit/s) converted! Also the still missing, and, as I hope, to perfect (with non read errors), Terminator 2 demo Disks (hello "mai" ;-)! Have fun with it! ;-)

Yes. Just saw it. I had left a snapshot (ESXi) on the machine since the last patch period and forgot to delete it so it grew to 220GB and filled the last remaining storage space.

I'm cleaning out the snapshot now, but it takes 30 minutes or so since it grew so large.

Fixing that problem would take 790 minutes. I'll just wipe the snapshots so it reverts to a month or two back and restore a 2 day backup. If you've uploaded something in the past 2 days, please do so again.

If you've created an upload account in the last 2 days, it will still be there but your folder in ~Uploads might not be.

It'll be up again in a few minutes.

Total commander sucks as a FTP client. If you can select to use PASV (Passive mode) in it, do so. Otherwise get filezilla or some other real FTP client =)
