Maybe track zero has been erased or something like that. the mfm tracks can report no sector header message. Else, you can write back the wwp file from my original on yours if you believe the disk is empty

Ah didn't thought of that The disk can't be completely empty though, if i try to boot from it seems to fade the image to black and after a few secs the computer GURUs. Haven't tried it on A500 though. And my A1200 and A4000 both have 060 so it's perhaps no suprise it gurus. I did try to turn of the caches etc on my A1200 though but still no dice. Also tried softkicking 1.3 with blizkick but still getting a guru.

Oups !!! Then the disk is working, so don't try to erased it in anyway !

Pick the installer on whdload site, and try to install your original.

Then it's the first, broken version.

Apart from the fact that some tracks are missing, the game is looking for slow fast mem (ranger mem, $C00000) as found in an A500 with +0.5MB in the trapdoor. Only works in a machine with additional mem at $C00000. Coders doing such things should be shot.

I was curious to know if anyone was able to fix that pausing bug that plagued this game.

Yes, me. Crack has been finished long ago (real files) but trainers, 680x0 fixes and some other things are still missing.

There will be. The beta WHDLoad version I made about 10 years ago has random pauses on most machines which I couldn't fix, hence it never received an official install.

Was this ever completed?

I'm sure there are still a good amount of people eagerly awaiting a good version of Ghosts n' Goblins for WHDLoad.

Thanks, Retroplay, but we were referring to an Whdload version.
Can the version you uploaded be installed?
