In fact, when you start, he starts the game by jumping up to the left and then runs left all the time. Trying an old demo I do not have this issue, so I am at a loss as to what is happening here. |

Do you have a joystick ? Probably not calibrated, so the game thinks that you push the stick up left.

No I do not. I am using the keyboard. We have got a USB PS joypad adapter that I've used in the past no problem, but it currently isn't connected to the machine. The last release of the lionheart demo runs fine, as does any other game I care to try.

Hum, have you a Joystick connected ?
Try to remove it. Because the game use both Joystick & Keyboard So, if Joystick is LEFT, and Keyboard RIGHT, something like that, it won't work. For the final release, you will be able to choose between Keyboard/Joystick. |

I do not intend to remove the joypad driver from the machine to test if this will work on it. I'll transfer the archive to my external drive any try it on my other machine in a little while to see if the problem persists there. Last edited by _Steve_; 05 May 2007 at 16:27. |

No, but don't worry, RPG elements are not really important, just somethings to let this remake a bit more different than the original ...

Do you have plans for a level editor?
I think there are some really talented people that could make amazing levels even without new graphic =) |

I've done my own level editor
But, i can use other graphics So, make a new Lionheart with new graphics is possible ... but, my level editor is really messy It use only mouse & keyboard. I can use it because i coded it ... Making levels is good, but each editor got its own limits ... i know my levels editors limits, and its not simple to explain. We are the 8, that mean the Final Release is near :=) |
