on a slightly related topic: King of Chicago version looks so much better on Amiga than the mac https://www.mobygames.com/game/macin...go/screenshots .. mac version is possibly the worst translation I have ever seen. Weird clay models?
I also thought that blue bar was some visual glitch also. |

The Mac version of King of Chicago wasn't a translation, it was the original version of the game. |

Thanks for clarifying ricky500.... via Wikipedia, ...This game was first developed by Doug Sharp on the Mac, then limited to a monochrome display, using graphics based on digitized images of clay models.

- Warning -
Floppy versions are not supported. If you want the game to run properly, use the HD version I have uploaded. |

Understood
...the floppy version just extracts your .LZX archive into RAM before running; that's all. |

No, because for some reason when I extracted your .LZX file from disk; it would fail sometimes.
I guess you use a later version of .LZX which isn't fully compatible with "Unlzx" that I use on disk. ...so, I ended up extracting your original .LZX file in my "ClassicWB 3.1 .HDF" environment; then slightly adjusted the "sinbad.readme" (so that in WinUAE it displays better in a 640 x 480 resolution) and then re-LZX'd. Besides the "sinbad.readme", look at the files; they are absolutely identical ...and it now extracts everytime from disk without issue. Last edited by DamienD; 13 December 2018 at 22:55. |

The .ADF I made is for the original conversion; be it English language Besides, Retroplay has provided the French version as a separate disk; which he based off the .ADF I created and only had to change lines in the "S/Startup-Sequence"... Anyway, people can totally ignore these 2 x English / French .ADFs if they like and install your .LZX file to hard drive... no-one is being forced to use them; and as you've pointed out... they are totally unsupported. |

But I'd image some people will; those who don't know how to install WB, get .LZX files across; extract etc... Anyway, what's wrong with having more options available though? Again, I haven't modified your files; except for spaces in the English "sinbad.readme" (for better reading in 640x480 resolution via WinUAE) and then re-LZX'ing everything up. |
