That's new and updated installs, which also is mentioned in the games readme attached in OP.

That's what I used to do, however the thread got messy and cluttered up with update posts, that's why I decided to post update .txt files in OP instead.
Much easier to keep track of new stuff that way. |

Tecnoball crashes when I complete the first level:
Any ideas? I extracted the archive in Workbench. |

Hmm it asks for the cracked version by Skid Row during install so that's what I used.
Funny though as there's a link to an original extended adf image in the readme. http://amiga.tlk.fr/tecnoball.php [edit] Bug report submitted at Mantis. Last edited by Retroplay; 09 September 2012 at 16:29. |

I just noticed a pre-installed version of Pinball Brain Damage (http://www.whdload.de/games/PinballBrainDamage.html) seems to be missing or at least I couldn't find it on KG's set or your updates. Not sure if there are any issues on the slave or any other reason for it not being included?

Pinball Brain Damage is owned by ACP&TCP who still exist, they have serious issues with it being included in the packs/uploads

Thanks for the info, wasn't aware the game was still being sold.
Do you know if there are any other games on the same situation? |

Off the top of my head...
Marbellous as well. I think Capital Punishment was originally left out but was included later... Other than that, I'm not sure! |

Yup, Marblelous and Pinball Brain Damage.
I haven't uploaded any of these as they both are APC&TCP titles. |

Thanks guys, seems Gunbee F-99 and MegaBlast were also left out for the same reasons.

Hi Retroplay. Many thanks for sorting all these out. Much appreciated.
In Turrican2_v1.7_0029.zip, the icon for Turrican2 doesn't have any tooltypes, so clicking on it doesn't work. The install works fine otherwise if you add the tooltypes, or run the slave from the cli. Thanks |

Psygore is aware of the problem and a new fixed install is in the works.

Awesome, thank you. It looks like a great Breakout clone and I'd like to keep playing.

I am new to WHDload and would like to know if the games will work on my Amiga if I extract the zip and lha files in WinUAE on my PC using Dopus to my CF.
Thanks. Last edited by Dude77; 24 September 2012 at 22:01. |

@Dude77: yes, they should because WHDLoad slaves in most cases fixing problems with protection flags for files. But like you wrote, good way is to use WinUAE and Classic WB or zip from CLI to extract archives, because in some cases games like "Sorefist" wont extract under Windows filemanagers or explorer because they may contain filenames like *con* which cannot be used under Windows. But to have 100% sure the game wont be corrupted under real Amiga if you see some files with "__uae" prefix like __uae___con_abk in "Sorefist" data dir you should transfer originally downloaded *.zip archive to your CF Card and extract it under real Amiga.

You're better off copying the zip or lha archives to your CF and extract them on an Amiga.
Some games don't like FAT filesystem and will break if exposed to FAT/NTFS. |
