It comes to my mind that the first Diablo-Game from 1997 reminded me on "The Faerytale Adventure" (1987).
I'm sorry, I don't have any screenshots of "Diablo I". In my humble opinion "The Faerytale Adventure" is far better than Diablo. I think, that in former times when the capability of the computer wasn't that developed as nowadays, the programmers concentrated more on the gameplay and the story. Today a lot of time goes lost to create the graphics and the UI. Cheers, Rick |

There is an amiga version of D-Day.
![]() Although developer is 'unknown' for both games, since Loriciel was involved for both games, it is highly probable that the same artist worked on two interfaces and decided to re-use some previous work. Of course he probably worked also on Advanced Destroyer Simulator. Notice the needle gauges in the left and compare them to Sherman M-4.
