Pretty much.. It's all listed correctly in Igame anyway so I know if I'm running a non AGA game or an AGA game.
(Example) Theme Park - T directory Theme Park(AGA) - T directory Theme Park(CDTV) - T directory |

Sounds like you are not using my WHDLoad sets? These AGLaunch files are specifically meant to be used with that version 2.2 set.
Otherwise its the merged - same assign set you are needing. Last edited by Turran; 24 August 2014 at 16:25. |

Hey Turran, great work.
I'm trying to work around a problem now though. All the games are the slave names so they don't have spaces in them. That's fine when a human reads them but I was trying to import them into Rom Collection Browser to auto-launch them with FS-UAE within XBMC with all the other emulators, but because all the names are missing spaces so it can't read them too well to scrape details for all of the games. Any ideas on how to convert them to their real names? |

Which part do you mean? The folder/icon or the AGLaunch files?

I'm referring to the game's folder name. Sorry, replace the word "Zip" with "folder" in the paragraph before, I didn't realise they were in folders now rather than separate Zip files.
So for example if RCB (Rom Collection Browser) scans through the folder it'll pick up names like "PGATourGolf" and "LotusTurboChallenge" which means when it performs lookups against Mobygames and VGDatabase it wont find anything as it would need to search for "PGA Tour Golf" and "Lotus Turbo Challenge" respectively. Not sure how I can get around this. |

Hm, yeah. Bit hard. You can purchase Rename Expert and so something like this
(Add a space before each capital letter). You're bound to run into some problems, but its a great start in either case. http://www.grandis.nu/images/MassRename.JPG |

I can do things like that via Regex renaming in Linux but as you said it's not exactly ideal, for example "AGA" would become "A G A" and "PGATour" would become "P G A Tour".

Added two games from the upcoming 2.3 package into Games_WHDLoad_UnpackOnAmiga.
Empty filename in them prevents them from being extracted on PC. 1869_v1.2_De_0417.lha 1869_v1.2_De_AGA_1653.lha Full 2.3 package is not big enough to be released yet so no rush on that.. |

That Rename Expert looks like a useful piece of software. Laughable that it costs money though.

I suck at regular expressions, but I know it's the best way to do something like this, and that you can easily add space before 'each capital letter that is followed by lowercase letter or other character'. (and make exception for the first letter, to avoid producing names starting with space)

After ignoring the demoscene for a verrrry long time, I am starting to enjoy showing my kids the wonders that it holds!
I love the WHDLoad demo packs, but was wondering if there is a way to create a playlist that would run a selection of demos sequentially and automatically? |
