Playing System Shock 2 with the lights off and with headphones on and VERY loud and scary sounds blowing my mindhole! I had to have a rollingpin next to me because I kept thinking that someone was sneaking up behind me

If my flatmate actually did that, I'd knock him into the next block of flats out of fear.

And I've installed the hi-res texture packs that I could find for extra spooky detail.

As much as I love Fallout 3 I'm not going to spend 8 euro on an expension that ends after 2,5 hour playing even when taking it easy. While being so short it's also said to be focussing on the shooting instead of the roleplaying parts..you can't loot your fallen victims because they're holograms for example

i am a bit of a fallout freak, I love the whole franchise and still play them all. I have found the best way to enjoy fallout 3 is get the collectors edition guide. I have 80 hrs game time and i am ignoring the main quest chain in favour of exploration. Its awesome and i havent disovered a third of the game yet, there is so much in it. The guide is over 600 pages and is still lacking in places - it is the only game and guide combo i have ever had when owning the guide book actually increases the enjoyment of the game - there is no reason to get the new content yet, and to be honest there is no reason to rush the main quest chain. it only shuts out a lot of extra content that is just a great gaming experience.
have you got the PC or XBOX or PS3 version? and what bugs have you encountered?

That's exactly how I played FO3 Well without the quide, but exploring the whole wasteland without caring for the main quest We had a nice thread about it in OT, but that's deleted now...
I played on the PC and yes there some bugs, mainly freezing the game and sometimes even the whole PC

Gonna play some Serious Sam 2 coop later with my man gimbal

Played and finished Mirror's Edge finally, after about 10 hours of playing, and enjoyed every bit of it. Love the music, love the cheesy plot and simply love hating the extra hard jumps in some places...

Oh, what happened to your end gimby? With TCD we can rub the pain away if you tell us... come on... don't be shy... it's for your own good you know.
I was hoping for a final SS2 gaming session tomorrow, a final one before my study session...

SS2 aborts my internet connection when I play it. So that basically makes it impossible for me to coop it

well we can always go for SS:SE again This time hard mode with extra enemies!

5h00n:

latest updates and service packs, no vista, did a full virus scan and rootkit sweep, nothing was downloading. I've been having that problem since the first time I played SS2, just forgot about it It was never a problem since I didn't need an internet connection to play it single player
