@dfrsilver

the shifting up of the level map is in my opinion due to the fact that right now there is only one level in, so it simply continue to read on; the parallax sprites messed up colors might be an in-progress too; i expect some masking will be done at the sides later on

the graphic layers move as expected. i cannot see any issues - but i'm not an expert in such details.
but looks good.
since rygar is out of sight, i cannot make a 2nd round, so i cannot check the shift of the map, after each round.

rygar is now at good postion. enemies can now get killed, but when killing one,
there is color flash, as seen in the attached picture.

this is the begin of 2nd round, you can see rygar is walking now some pixel below.
the right image is the game start, round 1 - same position.
it is not a new bug, it was altready with the earlier versions.

I'll check that out. Color flash is due to debug color

ok.the shift problem: it is not rygar, it is the foreground layer, which has moved upwards.
if you switch between both images, you can see it.

Does it occur during the same execution?

yes, just walk one round to the right side. at the end of a round, there is a house/temple, then the graphic gets shifted.
on second image, , xan you see it (yellow)? on the 3rd round it shifts again, same amount.

collision with cubic stone is active, but i cannot move rygar back to centre of the screen.
