Now that Turbo Sprint is free, is there any chance of adding it to your collection?

Ah yes, I forgot about that.
It's been free for a while now, hasn't it ? |

Yeah, this is an unusual case, this.
I remove it again, and if it's okay, I add it back into the soup. |

Are you going to add the English version of Soul Crystal?

Is it just me or is WesternGames_v1.0_0790.lha a bit broken? There seems to be a file in the data directory that I cannot copy. The filename is empty, for some strange reason.

The filename is 10 spaces, same as in the original disk. Emulators using host directory drive might have problem handling that, but shouldn't be an issue in Amiga filesystem.

This sounds like a protection file (Herndon HLS uses such files for example), it should not be needed at all.

It has to be extracted under emulation to Amiga Filesystem, not in Windows or anywhere else.
There's a "blank" 1084 byte file in the data directory. |

@Retroplay
Thanks for all this preinstalled goodness ! I'm wondering if there is something a bit funky with this one - Oscar_v2.3_CD32_NTSC The music plays too fast and the bottom status bar is too cropped. This is the same thing that happens when playing the PAL version in NTSC. This is what made me think it's the PAL version. If you compare it to the .img of Oscar CD32 on Grandis (booted in NTSC) you can see that it plays the music at the same speed as the PAL version and only a small bit is cropped at the bottom. |

Yeah, I marked it for deletion but forgot to do it.
It'll get the boot in a jiffy, thanks for reminding me. There's an "OscarCD_NTSC" executable on the CD32 iso but it's not supported by the slave. Last edited by Retroplay; 11 April 2023 at 16:57. |

Turboraketti finally has an English translation. :-) Should run under the original TR slave.

Ey up!
Thanks for putting together and updating this collection over the years. It's very much appreciated. Random question, would it be possible to remove the international characters from the LhA archive names please? One example is: - Commodore_Amiga_-_WHDLoad_-_Demos/0/100MostRememberedGamesOnThe64_v1.01_PerhåkanSundell&RonBirk.lha I have a local mirror of this collection using lftp in a Linux environment. Oddly, it doesn't notice files with international characters and treats the files like they're not even there. It's not the only client that has issues with these characters on this server. Maybe replace the å with aa in the above example? Or, does someone know what charset the grandis FTP server uses please? I hope I've not offended anyone with this post. Cheers, XtC |

Hi XtC_eXo and welcome to the forum (since it is your first post)
Maybe you can figure something out with the info in this post: http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...postcount=2986 (last paragraph) |

Thank you.

That demo appears to be the only archive using international characters, as nothing else flagged an error. |

Could you as a test try to download the file from my upload folder (~Uploads/TCD) and see if that works?
