Resolved!!!
I do the same "jump level" trick with Gloom AGA and at the start of zone 2, the game say "write enable data disk ". I do and the game continue. Later, when you run the game again you can select start the zone 1 or 2. I do the same with Gloom Deluxe and the game run OK now to zone 2. So the data disk must be write enabled. |

Grrrrr; I didn't think that the game needed to write to disk, hence why I used the .IPFs. ...maybe I should swap over to the .ADF set listed above in post #1059. |

I slighty adjusted all Gloom series configuration files so...
With "Zombie Massacre [AmigaCD]" there are no disks (.IPFs or .ADFs) so no need to delete / update the <gamedir>. |

Hi Damien, how do I save my games?
Also in Cruise For a Corpse game it says to press left mouse to put the whole game (4 disks) in hard drive. I did that and it just start the game. Any idea? |

Adventure games and some other genres need save disks so you use those; these will be in "C:\WinUAE\Games\<gamedir>".
Alternatively, you can also use "Save States" which are very handy for saving any position / anytime:
Quote:
Anyway, these are the "Cruise For a Corpse" disks already populated in the "Disk swapper": When you want to save in this game you hold down the <Right Mouse button> and then click the <Left Mouse button>, which will bring up this: Now select "Save", put either "Cruise for a Corpse (Save Disk 1).adf" or "Cruise for a Corpse (Save Disk 2).adf" into DF0: and finally click the <Left Mouse button> |

Read what it says carefully Anyway, hard drive installation, be it copy / assign, native or WHDLoad, isn't too difficult... search the forum if you want to try doing this yourself |

I got what you're saying Damien. I thought "Press Left Mouse" was part of the sentence.
It's saying Press Left Mouse to move on. I get it. Duh! |
