Interesting. For me floppies failed way more often than CDs (or later DVDs). Still have a good amount of CDs (both data and music) from the 90s that work perfectly fine.

In my country we had a TV ad that said: "Fanta é a tua amiga do dia" and that reminded me always of my Amiga 500.

There's a lorry haulage company on UK roads called "DSV" which reminds me of the Amiga every time, as "Seaquest DSV" was a TV series that used Amigas for its CGI, just like Babylon 5 did. It stands for Deep Sea Vessel, by the way.
