Come on, it's not that bad... yeah, so a bit "childish" maybe, but those are nice colorful cartoony graphics

Visuals, sound and gameplay are nice in Claw, and to fully be able to play it I suggest PSX or xBox controller (or any other controller with a lot of buttons )

In this game you have to be careful before jumping down a hole or before running on the enemy. (some of them will shoot at you, other will try to attack with sword)

One thing that might be low point is that some enemy will not see you while you're in clear sight. (I guess they have problem with cataracts or some other eye disease?! )

Still, Claw is nice game, you should try it. (there is an ISO on friendly web site with Super Nintendo and Rama game in the title, locally here from USA.

For me high resolution for a platformer is just simply not good enough. somehow the gfx doesn't fits at all.
If I wanna see good gfx I load Flink, Brian The Lion, the Turricans, Lionheart, or the Beasts. Well polished gfx for low resolution.

btw. I gave a try for Wing commander CD32 yesterday. was a pleasure, as I remembered the damn slow A500 version, so it was a nice surprise with the acceptably smooth speed

Just tried Left 4 Dead (thanks Smilie! ) and it looks awesome!
Runs on the Half-Life 2 engine which is super-smooth even on my lousy old GF6600GT, and with the double core support my team mates ain't hogging the framerate...

PS: Try the Skullptura release if you find one, they're doing the awesomenest job out there, of all the release groups!
Got this one as a 962MB so-called Full-Rip, it's repacking a few minutes and, voila! 4,5GB of data on your HD

I want to try it too, but I am not sure I will like it as I love to play alone, not with other players or bots. I hope nots will be intellingent and not stupid as the ones in "Resident Evil Outbreak".

@MazinKaesar: You played H-L2? It's the same probably. IMHO they're pretty intelligent, getting into the action when you're behind, getting (or trying to ) out of the way when you're in a smaller room. Try to jump of a building and you've got a small reason why they're in game
Definitely better then the dumb coop mode in Red Alert 3!

But like Smiley already said in the OT, the Zombies are way too fast...
Not that you couldn't handle'em, it just feels so... unnatural! (lol, you know what I mean )

Another loner like me What is your reasoning for wanting to play alone? Me personally I think human opponents are too stupid. For example I'd rather play against UT bots that use any weapon in their arsenal, it gets really boring when people use the same weapons over and over and over and over and over etc. and hide in the same camping spots over and over and over and over etc.

Example: I was playing a game of counterstrike (which I hate, but they wanted to play it) with a couple of close friends. They were all much better at it than me of course, I didn't train daily in making pixel perfect head shots, I was too busy playing old RPGs like Daggerfall and Ultima 8 at the time. So when I had my head blown of for the umpteenth time without even seeing my opponent, I decided to have some fun. I would take out my knife, hide somewhere in a corner and knife people to death when they walked by. Great fun!

When I killed one person for the fifth time this way, in stead of laughing at my impossible victory, he quit the game frustrated. It saddens me that this is not an isolated incident, it is only too common that people behave like this.

The best memory I have in a multiplayer game is when I played Heretic through a modem and me and my opponent were constantly turning each other into chickens in crazy levels we made ourselves especially for this purpose. Now THAT was fun.

Perhaps it will help if you don't think of them as zombies, but simply fast enemies.

How about a match gimby?
I'm replaying this old gem which is my all-time-favorite, much better then all those Quakes and newer UT's.

Sounds like fun, I've never had the chance back then
