I don't know how that file is being modified and saved yet the FILELOG shows no record of it being written back.

One other way to check, is run SNOOPDOS (the program) before you run the game in wHDLoad, when you exit with the quit key, any cached files WHDLOAd wants to save, SNOOPDOS will show you onscreen.

Another good news, I fixed the graphical glitches and the slave runs with fastmem, so the game should be much faster on real machines.

strange: the game saves to this file but nothing is recorded. It still has the same contents as at startup or so it seems. The tutorial always resumes at mission 1 for instance.

It's like save option doesn't work like at all... Going to test that on disk images / floppy.

IMPORTANT :

I can save with SpaceCrusade&TheVoyageBeyond_v2.2_1535 but not with SpaceCrusade&TheVoyageBeyond_v3.0_1535 ! Several tries and the 2.2 has no problem for saving !

The problem is here and maybe the same problem with Space Hulk.

New install has a problem with saves

Can you share? Can save with savestate on any emulator.
Will wait another version in the future with internal saves for my real A1200.
