Chris from Amiga.org has very kindly uploaded a video for us!

"Burgess Amiga Video Guide 001 (an overview of Amiga software, applications and hardware)"

This is a great video lasting nearly an hour!

This video is in MP4 and plays well in DivxPlayer.

Guys, can one of you please mover the video over to the correct location please.

Thanks again to Chris!

Thanks Chris, and moved Peter

I've left it in it's original folder as there's a .jpg with it

"Professional Techniques for Deluxe Paint III 1989"

Uploaded today - it's in MP4 format and in six parts when unzipped - it is an easy to find video but I thought it would be nice to have it as part of our project here. It's a really good video - nearly an hour long and it has some good DPaint user advice and tips.

Can it be moved please - Thank you!

I've been watching this video on ebay and I think that seller has obviously read this thread - these videos tapes which usually go for around £2-£4 are now starting to list at crazy prices - I mean £14.99! Play the game mate - I don't mind putting my hand in my pocket and spending a few quid, you only have to see what I have spent on the Amiga Format Magazine project on CIA but these prices are squeezing the Amiga community a bit too much. This seller has three videos that I would buy at the right price but I'm not paying nearly £45 quid for them - my message to him is "Get Real"

Hmm... I hadn't anticipated that!

Well, if he's reading this thread, then I guess he'll now have to accept that he won't be selling them as soon as he might have done.

He lives very close to me. Maybe I should pay him a visit. Haha.

Seems like a lot of his stuff is overpriced. £14.99 seems like a bargain now!

The video is described as being a full length tutorial but in actual fact only lasts 24 minutes! - I would not have been pleased with this back in the day if I had paid £14.99 for it!! Anyway, it's worth watching if only to see Nick Veitch looking so young

Thanks again to Paul_s for sending me this video to convert to AVI.
If anyone else has has any tapes or DVD's please think about sharing them or sending them to me for AVI conversion.

Can the upload be moved to the correct area please ... :-)
yay... just going to download it now.

I can't remember what I paid for it to be honest back in the day but when I came to looking at the tape some years ago I thought 24 minutes was a tad short myself!

I have uploaded a short video (in 3 MP4 parts) that I found on Youtube.
It is called the "Amiga Graphic Designers Toolkit" from Design Mirage (1988)

The video focuses on an Amiga 2000 and various bits of ancient hardware that connect to it to perform some graphical and DTP projects.

Great video for a coffee break - I really enjoyed it!

Please can it be moved to the correct folder on the server (Thanks)

Once again, if anyone has any videos that they could share with us here on EAB then please contact me or post here.

Great work chaps.

Any chance these can be uploaded to Youtube/Vimeo/Viddler etc. any streaming video site? Downloading the whole files is a bit 1990s :P

Also I could watch them on my ipad and iphone too

I guess, some where down the line we can look at options at hosting these some where but for the time being we need to get as many videos as possible - I have to say I am a bit disappointed by the lack of contributions - people must have some more Amiga Format videos lurking around their lofts and sheds surely...?! If you have got any tapes at all please get in touch here - I can do the conversion for you and any video would be of interest for this project so please have a dig around...
