Yep, klx300r is right, it is about halfway finished, but got a bit derailed when got into discussions with another contributor about the style/format. But I rather get it out earlier and keep the PDF style simple, so I am back on track again. Hopefully, by next week I can push out the PDF issue. As they say Japan, GANBARIMASU!!

i appreciate that very much but dont worry too much about format, even just plain text would be fine as long as its not an amigaguide file

Keep up the great work with WhatIFF. The Hamulet demo is incredible and I love the interview with Remi as well as the other interviews. GG

I kept the design very simple, so please do not expect anything like Amiga Addict or Amiga Format, it is more of just a PDF conversion of the Amiga Guide format. My design skills are very limited

Looks fine to me Thank you for the PDF version I've added it to 'Collection/Scans/Magazines/WhatIFF' (even if it's not a scan ).

thank you!
Kindles can display PDFs, there's no need to bother yourself with any specific format Quote:

Thank you It is my first attempt at doing a PDF magazine, there was a big learning curve but Tony Horgan was big help on it. Hopefully others will enjoy it too. If there is a significant download of the PDF version then I will continue with both the AmigaGuide and PDF version for later issues now that I have a template to work from Hope the other writers will enjoy seeing their work in PDF format.

Will back issues be available as PDF as well. Native Kindle version would still be cool. I bet it would look amazing on the Kindle Scribe.

PDF version looks great. If that is really your first attempt, you obviously have a knack for it.
Couple of suggestions (keep in mind I have zero layout experience): Main text should be justified, not left-aligned. In combination with automated hyphenation, this will result in a much less unruly/choppy looking layout. IMHO, there's too much vertical space between a picture and its description. The font used for the descriptions is too big. All boxes/screenshots/fotos should have the same width as the (justified) text column, IMHO. Currently they are slightly wider. Also remember you can add attachments to a PDF. I.e. cover 'disk' software like Hamulet could be distributed as part of the PDF. |

Maximum readability, minimum gaudy gimmicks. If only Amiga Power and co. had followed these principles.
