Okay.
So... * download stays http based * Uploaders share the same FTP account * No more personal accounts for guests I got it right Magix ? By the way, the file I uploaded is the WHD repack of Dragon Tiles (AGA version, tell me if you need the ECS one) that was recently patched by Psygore. |

Yes.
If they use the FTP method yes. There are still personal account for HTTP uploads. |

Well, I wasn't able to upload the small zip file within the http interface using my personal account. I got a "file too big" error msg for a ridiculously small zip file.
And now I wonder where is the file I uploaded, I can't find it in my user folder on the http interface. Aren't the two supposed to be synchronous ? Or I am missing something... |

Seems like the HTTP interface isn't working right now. I will PM Magix to have a look. Use the FTP method or wait till it's sorted.

Fixed now. You can not see the files you uploaded to the FTP on the web side, there are different folders. FTP uploads are needs be moderating. TCD can handle about this. He hee... Quote:
Thanks TCD. I do not know what to do without you. So, Happy Easter Holiday all of you guys... |

It is much easier to browse and download via ftp on a real Amiga rather than using Aweb or Ibrowse - I don't want to sound awkward but is there a reason why you cant download via ftp - it is much more user friendly when using my A1200...

The problem is that people kept uploading copyrighted stuff (well one guy), so now the uploads need to be moderated. Since Magix FTP server can't handle different rights for different folders (only upload to your user folder), it is now restricted by the HTTP interface. You can thank the guy that abused the FTP for this
