You're definitely a phenomenon. Are you thinking while playing shmups or is your mind completely "free"?
Btw., how did you like Battle Squadron? |

TF it's a shame you disappeared for a while as it'd been really close at the top of the league otherwise, you really are very talented.

@DamienD
I see that still you are not using loops. Consider that when you loop, for about 3-4 seconds you are invulnerable |

Absolutely gutted
Had a score of about 137k, was firing like mad to stay alive and died. The credit then kicked in, reset my score so I was unable to grab a screenshot... |

And i tell you what, i am coming back with a vengence!!!... EDIT-: I wont be posting back on here again for highscores for months and months i think. I have all but given up trying to get my CD drive working. The CDFS Buffered Interface wont work like it should, my original CDFS install disk had errors the very day it was sent to me from Amigakit, and the other copies i obtained also developed errors plus my previous cable hack that i used for many years is not working, and i just dont have the the time to sit here for hours trying to work it all out. So TCD, looks like you wont be seeing me on here doing anymore high scores and to the rest of you guys!.. Good luck and have fun!!.. Last edited by blade002; 02 November 2008 at 06:04. |

For the most part. Completely numb. The only times i do think is when i become my worst enemy. Like, oh yea cool cleared the first 6 levels without dying. Then the thoughts of you're going to die come in and instead of playing im thinking. Battle Squadron was alright. I didnt really care for it too much. Kinda reminded me of Silkworm though. Graham. Even though this is in good fun. I know there were a few competitors who made it interesting. Looking back i know it would have been neck and neck with john and I if i did just stick it through with alien breed. But, it wasnt my intention to totally forget about the weeks to come. It was only until about 6 weeks later did i remember about the competition. In any case, thanks for the kind words. That sucks Damien. Maybe as a suggestion you should enable a pause button so after you frantically try to stay alive, you can quickly hit the save button or something to regroup. |

That's the spirit! You must have been focused so much that you didn't notice that lives counter went to zero. I could not devote myself so much

@blade: Damn, man - why do you resist using WinUAE? Join the dark side!
Your Miggy is old and tired. Let him go with honor! @TF: Completely numb, huh? I'll try to put myself in this state of mind when playing shmups. Won't be easy to shut off negative thoughts (like "oh no - I'll probably die next screen"). |

Hope this doesn't make you feel feel worse, but I thought that when you die it saves your highest score out of each of the credits used. So if you commit suicide quickly it will save the original. Anyone confirm? |

Nice one Damien However don't you think that using your loops for the very last enemy would be an idea for the next time you play?
