Part 9
So, this was sitting on my HD for a while due to work and other issues:
HTML Code:
--------------------------------------- *===> / *===>__ __ / , __ // / / X- X- // / // // X_ /Z__ /_/ / / /Z__ /_//_/Z_ __/ --------------------------------------- DANISH COLLECTION PART 9 - LPN (part 2) approx. 600 amiga disk images (.adf), mostly games, utils and pd imaged with diskripper (on an amiga) or kryoflux (on windows) or rob's arduino floppy solution (also on windows) by curt cool (depth-nah-kolor-hoaxers-amp-kestra-copythatfloppy) june 2021 --------------------------------------- thank you to lpn for lending/giving these to me. these disks came from various places and were mostly bought with various computers during the early 00's when amiga's were "slightly" cheaper to come by. this means there are plenty of games which features several times in different versions. about 120 disks were bad and brought to the scrap. some were cleaned if the label suggested that interesting stuff was on it. with this also came a few originals which i am so far trying to supply to softpres.org. dunno if they're totally dead. or just slow/dead-ish. also not included here is a few mods disk (contents will be available at AMP if the author agrees) and a few damaged gamedisks (dos install on trackloaded games makes a very dull game) and empties. --------------------------------------- if you have a collection you would like to save to modern media and share especially if it contains demoscene material, write me at curtcool@depth.org i will be happy to help you image your data any way i can, whether it be the actual imaging, getting in contact with archivists closer to your home who can help you or tips on how to do it yourself without spending a fortune any module support for amp, support for the kestra demoscene archive and images of disks, you have imaged yourself are also greatly appreciated. you may join the demozoo discord for contact as well #diskdumping ---------------------------------------- watch my diskripping seminar from revision 2020 https://youtu.be/SMB4dCRh_cI ---------------------------------------- this collection is provided as is, any viruses, disk errors, nonworking games and such is something you should look out for (as it's really very common, as you can imagine, the floppies are old) (so i don't take any responsibility for whatever you do with it) ---------------------------------------- lastly, greetings to the diskrippers and archivists trying to keep old c64 and amiga data alive: asle, crown, dipswitch, menace, conan, zeg, jarre, tmb, phreedh, hedning, dozer, jope, tecon and many others and all of the kind people who have provided their collections and their help to the community (the community meaning eab, facebook groups, kestra, amp, amigascne.org, demozoo, csdb etc.) over the years. you have all been instrumental in saving lots of otherwise lost data. |

Would guess your firewall/viruskiller/whatever is a bit worried about security - nothing that might harm your modern computer in the archive at least, just tested, it's the same old, containing adf's and a text file. Though the odd Saddam and Lamer Exterminator is probably around somewhere on the adf's.
