Having problems: the ROMs, configs and games are all there. When I set it to open winuae GUI the defaults all point to C: drive, I have extracted DamienD's pack and winaue and the launcher to the G: drive for space reasons.
Can you help? |

Yeah DDLaunch is cool
...but you do know that DamienD already wrote basic instructions on how to do that, plus provided "Host" files. See this: Quote:

For me, I prefer to untick a box when I don't want scanlines and tick a box when I do, rather than naffing around changing config files in notepad++. |

…but I’m just pointing out that you don’t have to mess about with changing all configuration files using Notepad++. DamienD has provide “Host” files. These are very easy to set and don’t change any of his original configuration files, see what I quoted in my last post. Also, people who don’t like scanlines or LEDs will just turn them off; and usually won’t ever want to turn them back on. If they do however, they just remove the related “Host” file Really DamienD has thought of everything and tried to cover all bases with his collection, options and details FAQs; it may look simple enough as everything just works, but there’s loads of complexity to what he’s done behind the scenes Last edited by vulture; 14 February 2022 at 12:04. |

Sorry, should have been a bit clearer. DDLaunch stores its config files in the main WinUAE folder so it's paths need to be relevant to that folder. Nothing more than that.

@mrv2k
ah, I see! Thx for the clarification! In related news, someone has uploaded DamienD's winuae collection with DDLaunch as front end without giving credit to either DamienD or mrv2k. Kinda lame imo.... [ Show youtube player ] |

DDLaunch v1.5
This is quite a big release as the GUI is now fully resizable and adapts to the Windows snap points. Also I have included all the options included in DamienD's host files. There is now no need to change any settings in these files. Finally, the scaling has been fixed for all desktop resolutions if using a full window. Version 1.5 is Available Fixes & Updates
Interim Update This is a quick fix for the floppy volume. The volume now applies to all four drives and includes a 10% volume setting. I've attached the archive but it's also available on the links above. Fixes / Updates Version 1.6

This is an awesome frontend! Could you add lower percentages for the drive sounds ? 25% is really loud ! I hate to think what 100% would be like. 8-10% sounds more realistic IMO. Although I have noticed the drive sound changes volume (gets louder) sometimes. Not sure why that happens, (not the fault of your frontend though).

Hey liveevil. I set 15% on my configs and even that seems a bit loud at times. 10% is probably a good setting. I think the volume changes are different drives.

Even the real drive used to make loud sounds on loading certain games/files etc.
The whole case used to vibrate. lol |
