@Clydos : I'm talking about Second Samurai that was announced on CD32 but never been released. It's a great AGA upgraded game and it would be nice if it finally has his own single edition ;-) The WHDLoad version included in this "CD32 and Beer" compilation is perfect as the game doesn't need a keyboard anymore.

Not sure if it's already been mentioned, but Gloom doesn't seem to work. Just goes to the AmigaDOS screen. Unless i just need to burn the iso again? Everything else seems to work swimmingly.

don't burn the ISO again... test it on WinUAE first (maybe Earok tested, then added a startup option that ate memory...), but it's pretty sure that this game has an issue.

I am sorry to say, North and South still doesn't work properly with the Pads..
When the "Joystick Player" tries to take a Fort the "Keyboard Player's" Joypad is inactive in that Action Sequence (and the other way round). This may also be similar when taking a Train but I couldn't get to that Situation yet. Mapping "UP" to "GREEN" for both Players would also be great for Jumping in the Action Sequences. We are slowly getting there ;-) Best Regards. Last edited by Ebster; 08 June 2019 at 13:49. |

I've just burned and tested today these great compilation and I wanted to play north&south for so long without the keyboard, first ! noticed that I have to take out the mouse for the cd32 pad work well but my problem is that after the first battle when I return to the map, I cannot choose another location ! , the cursor move but no selection possible. did someone have the same issue ? thanks .
edit : so I installed the latest whdlooad version of the game (2.1) on my TF330 and it's working faultless ! but in the compilation, not. Last edited by thairacerjp; 29 December 2019 at 13:35. |

This is the 2020 update test release - any feedback (particularly regarding North & South) would be appreciated.
https://mega.nz/#!96ZnlKbb!clVztQuRc...b3MVllA5wV0ks4 Changes: - Bad Dudes vs Dragon Ninja: Latest Slave (Button 2 jump) - Battletoads: Uses revised control tables (so pressing fire+right for example doesn't trigger jump) - Blues Brothers: Latest Slave (Button 2 jump) - Body Blow Galactic: Latest Slave - Chaos Engine: Fixed to work on FastRAM equipped CD32s - Joe and Mac, Caveman Ninja: Latest Slave - North & South: Using WHDLoad instead of CD32Load - Oath, The: Minor hack - Parasol Stars: Latest Slave (Button 2 jump) - Strangers, The: Hack so game can be started without keyboard |

Nice ! I will do a test tomorrow ! for North @ South , with the whdload version I have little bit lagging (CD32 gamepad) when I must move the army in the battlefield , I will see if there is some difference or I should test with another gamepad.
edit : that's working faultiness now, well done master ! now after a battle, return to the map, cursor is ok. In battle, I think it's because the game who is not full optimized for the gamepad control, when moving soldiers it's not slick, it's jerky, the response delay can be annoying for win, many time the canon killed me lol ! First of all, thank you for this amazing compilation. I've been introducing my friend to Amiga games and he loves SWOS. This CD is filled to the brim with great 2 player titles!
I've noticed that Lotus 3 doesn't work anymore ever since the final update. I remember the game would boot in previous versions of this CD, back when you were still working on it, but on final and the latest test release it just shows a black screen and the game doesn't load. Every other title seems to work fine from what I've seen. |

Look in Earok's last post about 4 or 5 psts up he has a link for the download. It's still there as far as i can tell.
I'm pretty sure the rest can be found by looking around. |

Most of the games better games for the Amiga have been covered by Earok and a few others, look for compilations by Amigajay and i think jotd.
As for buying a CD32 it will be cheaper to buy a A500 mini. CD32 consoles are expensive now and getting to right CDr's is a bit hit and miss as well. |
