Ortograf has the Saddam Virus on Disk-Validator, it also seems to be corrupt! v1 has wrong track numbers starting at track 4.0 which seems to indicate the drive head stepping went out! v2 has 7 bad tracks so this needs cleaning/redumping as it's the better dump! v3 has head stepping going out from track 28.0! I managed to get this to load by taking the tracks from v3 that matched the bad tracks in v2 by renaming them and overwriting the tracks in v2 but could only get 5 tracks from 7 so 2 were still bad and the resulting IPF showed no errors but still showed about 16 files with checksum errors when file copying and 15 sectors damaged by the Saddam Virus! pitagoras_v1 has 7 sectors damaged by Saddam Virus and 12 files with chesksum errors and won't load! Basically both disks are damaged by the Saddam Virus! |

ortograf_v5 seems the best dump, no bad tracks or track stepping problems! You can make an IPF (Yes it does load but remember it has the Saddam Virus on it!!) but when file copying the data off the disk there are so many corrupt files you would need another copy to repair it!
Same for pitagoras_v2 & v3 (which are identical when compared as ADF's) but they also need files replacing as they are virus damaged so you'd need another copy to repair it as this one will not load! |

If you're going to upload raw dumps, archive all the files into 1 archive first so people only download 1 file, not 164 Do you not have an 84 track dumping drive?
Starting checking some dumps, i'll update this post as I complete them! Will be using WinUAE with the A500 Quickstart: 1.3ROM, OCS, 512 KB Chip + 512 KB Slow ram (most common) Afryka - No viruses and no virus damage, all files can be copied off the disk and a normal ADF loads without problems in WinUAE, codes provided by Abaddon pass the doc check! Unofficial IPF in The Zone! Azja - No viruses and no virus damage, all files can be copied off the disk and a normal ADF loads without problems in WinUAE, codes provided by Abaddon pass the doc check! Note: Track 35.1 is shown as unformatted! Unofficial IPF in The Zone! Desert Wolf - No viruses and no virus damage, all files can be copied off the disk and a normal ADF loads without problems in WinUAE, scans provided by rygar do not show the code table! Unofficial IPF's in The Zone! Geografia - No viruses and no virus damage, all files can be copied off the disk and a normal ADF loads without problems in WinUAE, manual provided by rygar passes the doc check! Unofficial IPF in The Zone! Heliosfera - Disk 1 has Saddam Virus on disk-validator and mod.demo file has checksum error! Disk 2 is virus/damage free and all files can be copied off the disk! Have repaired Disk 1 and uploaded unofficial IPF's to The Zone! Historia - No viruses and no virus damage, all files can be copied off the disk and a normal ADF loads without problems in WinUAE, manual provided by rygar passes the doc check! Unofficial IPF in The Zone! Polonista - Disks 1 & 2 are virus free, all files can be copied off the disk! Disk 3 shows track 0.1 as unformatted and affects file Data\test_PRN so don't know if this will affect the program later? The manual provided by rygar passes the doc check! Unofficial IPF's in The Zone! Test Prawa Jazdy - No viruses and no virus damage, all files can be copied off the disk and a normal ADF loads without problems in WinUAE, codes by Abaddon and manual provided by rygar passes the doc check! Unofficial IPF in The Zone! Thaurus - No viruses and no virus damage, all files can be copied off the disk and a normal ADF loads without problems in WinUAE, manual provided by rygar I can't pass doc check? Unofficial IPF in The Zone! Last edited by BarryB; 12 September 2023 at 22:11. |

I use a Q-Tip/Cotton Bud with some dry wipe 'Whiteboard' cleaner (it has Isopropyl Alcohol in it) that just dampens it and clean heads that way!
Same for the disks except I clean it through the metal shutter, but depending on how bad the surface is I use another Q-Tip/Cotton Bud to wipe the surface dry before rotating it so it doesn't soak the liner and smear more crap onto the disk, that is so tedious to do but some disks need it! |

Compared to your dump of Pitagoras this one is clean, no virus issues and all files can copied off the disk! But, on your dump the folder Pitagoras_Wyniki has files in it but the DMS's disk has no files in it, so this looks like a copy that has had nothing saved to it?
Also, there is an extra folder on your dump Pitagoras_SP5678 that has 30 'Pitagoras_SP5678' nested folders inside and seems to be cross linked into the Pitagoras_Wyniki folder as well! Not sure what the Pitagoras_SP5678 folder is for but I've added the missing files to an ADF of the DMS file and uploaded that working ADF to The Zone! When asked if it's your first time, if you click 'Kolejny raz' and load a file, they all want a password? |

How does the doc check work for Thaurus?
E.g. Strona (Page) 7 Wiersz (Row) 4 Wyraz (Word) 7 seems to be 'etapowi' but that doesn't work for me as you can only type in 5 characters? Sometimes it points to Wiersz 21 which has nothing there? |

It seems my disk if totally fucked up so have to find another copy BTW in my upload folder you can find TSS MEGA Mix which contains all Twin Spark Software releases in oryginal form. About protection i found this info in manual: "STARTING THE PROGRAM ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pythagoras is a program designed to have a direct impact on a specific person student. It is important for the teaching process that all data regarding student's learning progress was recorded and stored between individual "lessons". When starting the program for the first time, you should (after selecting the option "For the first time") specify the name of the file to which ours will be saved academic results. You can access the data generated by the program protect against unauthorized access with a password. ATTENTION!!! Failure to enter the correct password on the next startup Pythagoras will block access to the data, which will make it impossible to continue learning! Continuing learning requires selecting the "One more time" option, which will allow you to find the file where our data is located. After selecting it (pointing the cursor and pressing the left mouse button twice) we will be forced to provide the password to access the file. Entering the correct password will take us to the main menu." |

So it obviously writes to the disk before you can start, somehow that's how your copy got infected and damaged as it must have been used on a system that was infected then Pitagoras was loaded, write protect off as the program can't be used if it isn't! Is the password stored in the file you have to create, wonder if it's easy to extract? |
