As for the Gulf Wars sequel, I'll take a look when I'm home today (working right now). Ah yeah, since this is my first post on the EAB, I'd like to say 'Hello' to all you guys. Keep supporting the miggy! :-) On the games intro topic... I remember that I played Flashback a lot because the animations were awesome, but I can't remember if it had a nice intro. :-P But be sure to include the Ambermoon-Intro, that one is a classic. The Lotus3-intro is, too. |

Hi m8,
Welcome to the hallowed EAB Right as for your post.. Is there any chance I can get hold of the entire CD (Image)? If so lemme know if you can upload to my ftp etc.. As for intro's I'll check out the Ambermoon intro, and Flashback does have a short intro (Yay!!) Lotus 3 doesn't have an Intro as-such.. just a car driving towards the screen and then it does some ingame stuff.. But I might include it in the "Short Intro's" section |

Yeah, I know about the very short Lotus-Intro, but I consider it a classic - there's even a flash-version of that around on the 'net (http://www.kultpower.de --> Kult Games). ;-) Ah, while I'm at it, that site also has lots of scans from german amiga magazines (1987-1996)...
About Eric, better check back with him if you plan on include more then a few cartoons on the dvd, because he still sells them (on a 50 minute VHS and, soon, on the E.S. Productions archive CDROM Vol. 2). Check http://www.coax.net/people/erics/ btw, where must I sign to obtain a copy of that flo... erm, dvd, when it's finished? ;-) |

Hey Folks!
:-) I just came to this thread because someone linked to my website (Kultpower - Lotus 3 Flash Intro) Do you know this project: http://www.demodvd.org/ ? They have decided to produce a "commercial" amiga demo dvd. As I already own the PC demo dvd I must say that these people do very good work, perhaps you might want to watch this amiga project! cu |

It's more like a small Amiga community, isn't it? :-D
BTW, I recently bought some old ASM on the MS flea market, 1988-89 stuff, do you need any thing scanned? |

Well, I would lie if I said that I need scans My webspace is nearly full and I am currently thinking about how to expand it (or better: how to pay for it). And I have about 300 Powerplay-Scans "lying around" from other helpers, but I don't have the time to update my page So just don't throw the mags away (why should you?), and I will tell you when my webspace has "exploded" |

hehe, 17 ASM, mint condition, for 8 Euro. That guy was pissed, I was pleased. :-D
Don't worry, I won't throw anything away. Got some Happy Comps, Homecomputer and a whole lot of 64er, too. About those 300 scans lying around... mind burning them on CD? Or putting up some FTP? :-D And about the webspace, what about the 'Date? There should be lots of space. Did you ask EBL if he has something in store for ya? How much space do you need anyway (I might get some megs somewhere ;-)? |

Right geting a little bit BACK on topic!
I need another GFX artist to do a little work on this as there is far too much for Ant to do alone (Whilst he is trying to juggle his other projects/life and uni!!) So if there is anyone here who fancies seeing their name on the production send me a PM and I'll go through what we need |

Okay I need a couple of peeps for other things required for this..
I am including a screenshots gallery for each game, I need a couple peeps to do me some grabbing in WinUAE.. I'll need about 20-30 images per game, anyone interested just reply here and I'll give details about configs, screensizes etc.. (This would be perfect for the likes of Dastardly who expressed interest in helping, but can't do avi ripping!!) |

I knew you'd be interested
Anyway attached are some configs, use these as the screen sizes etc are setup already Take shots from various levels if you can, and get title screens and anything from in-between levels if you think its suitable! I have to goto work now, but later I'll pm you an ftp acc so you can upload them.. naming isn't required and bmp's are fine (So you just grab and send :P) |

Forgot too mention, the config screensizes are set to 352x288 as most demos use that size!
I recommend you change them to 320x256 for games as few games use overscan (properly) Have a play, but if there is a white box up the sides, the screen needs changing to 320x256 |
