You might be a bit too quick here. I am not sure if there still is any confusion, but just in case here is my AFAIK:

The PC Engine CD game "Dracula X: Rondo of Blood" is a completely unique game, which is different from "Dracula X" on either SNES or "Dracula X" on Playstation/Saturn. I think you won't find this game on any other system other than PC Engine CD.

On Playstation and Saturn the game called "Dracula X" is the Japanese (and European?) release of the same game that in the USA is called "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night." Dracula X on SNES is something else still.

On SNES the game called "Dracula X" is an inferior sequel to the PC Engine CD game.

More info about Rondo of Blood with those mouth-wetting screenshots (wait till you hear the music of this game ):

You can unlock the original PC Engine version (emulated as it seems) on the PSP, when you've completed the remake.

I like only the two Castlevania for PS2, and I am very sad about Castlevania for Dreamcast, never released
I liked very much even the arcade game based on Castlevania, Haunted Castle (also available for PS2, JPN only).

Thanks for the clarification rsn8887 I have played Dracula X on the PC Engine (one of the very few CD images I have for it ) and so I know the 'right' version. I also have the SNES version 'Castlevania - Dracula X' and like you said it has nothing to do with the PC Engine game.

Rondo of Blood is the best oldschool Castlevania, only beaten by the outstanding PSX sequel "Symphony of the Night". All following CV games are a disppointment, sadly.

Only later Castlevania games that IMHO is close to Rondo of Blood is GBA Castlevania game Circle of the Moon. Nice game.

Nope it wasn't, got it when I got a new contract phone yesterday.

Haven't played it loads yet so can't comment too much, the 'Be A Legend' mode is neat though, having to take one player through an entire career and hopefully winning loads of trophies and stuff. Currently though I'm stuck playing training matches for Lecce I think this is going to consume a lot of my time somehow.

Damn, they pack fine things with mobiles nowadays
I think that also go with PES 2009. Currently I play FIFA 08 with my 'football mates' and it's getting boring. This 'Be a legend' mode sounds like fun even in single player. Thanks for the info

I've installed and tried Tarzan (Disney), The Claw (Shooney must love this game ), BattleZone, Syndicate Wars, Commandos - Behind Enemy Lines, Aces of the Deep, MAX 2 and Z - all of them on PC - Windows and DOS games.

Actually I hate it, sorry
Back in the days when this was released (around 1996-1998?) my PC friends were over-hyped how awesome this platformer was. A couple of us Amiga users just laughed our asses off hearing that and showed them such gems as Turrican, Lost Vikings, Ruff 'n' Tumble...
The character in the game (The Claw) is too big imho, the visible area too small, the gameplay straight-forward... bleeeh

Right, back to the topic...
I've finally got to try A Vampyre Story and it's... OK, but I'll leave it for now. It's got a lousy intro rendered with some of the worst modeled 3D characters I've seen in... ... damn, back in the days of the PS1!
Seriously, the characters in the intro are square, the textures & polygons are screwed with themselfs, what were they thinking!
The game itself looks better, some nice 2D backgrounds, good vocalization, humor... might be a good game when enough time on me hands I'll have.

PS: I know I've asked this somewhere in this thread already some time ago, but maybe somethings have changed... besides the awesome Stubbs The Zombie game, is there any good PC game out there with Zombies? No matter if that's a Zombie as the main character or as the horde to kill, me wants all kinds

I've suggest you give a Claw a try. Might not be as bad as you view it 10 years ago.
