Thank you so much for the answer.
I still tell you that Disksalv dosent tell me the True " Invalid Volume & Bitmap "
= Bulls.hit ( CF + 3.9 ) because if the Volume and Bitmap would be invalid, the FFS would validate it ... so i dont trust those tools under CF usage.

And QB tells me " root drawer corruped" or somethink like that ....
=BS , again, because a fresh formated ADF ( gotek ) reports the same error with QBTool.

No, there is only Thomas Rapp´s Validate tool that speaks the Truth,
with my CF & OS3.9 FFS Combo.
http://thomas-rapp.homepage.t-online.de/download.html
It tells me on every partition Bitmap & Volume are VALID , obviously

The latest version certainly handles FFS. After all, it would be useless with hard drives otherwise.

There are a lot of hidden areas in plant levels. Mostly platforms reachable by launching a cloud high up and jumping on it with joydown to go even higher. Variant being launching a cloud below to create a bridge to a lower secret platform.
But the most hidden are the teleport sections. There are 2 or 3 different teleport sections per level. Check kroah level viewer to explore everything.
What a gem this game. Coding is just so good!

Wherever you want really, but putting the appropriate executable from the bin folder in C: is a good idea. Personally I'd put the extracted directory in my Work:Tools/ drawer, then copy the executable to C:.

Is there a way you can bypass cracktros besides pressing the left mouse button?

Not sure if I understand the question, but I can think of a few possible ways: Use gamepad in mouse port (so you'd be pressing a joystic button instead of a mouse button), use Action Replay to jump into loading routine from the cracktro or use Action Replay save state that has already passed the cracktro.

If it's permanent bypassing you mean, you can remove the cracktro from the startup-sequence or disassemble and replace cracktro with one that just boots to the loader instead of showing the intro.

Why would you want to skip cracktros though? They're probably the best part of most old games out there

yeah, you could put TWO cracktros on the really bad games i suppose. or did anyone ever just put a collection of cracktros on a single floppy?

some of them were bootblocks though so not as easy to remove.

Which brings me to my next question. If you have the joystick in the joystick port and then swap ports, will this damage the Amiga when it is on?

Not in real-life use. Avoid swapping connectors with a metal shield (such as old Commodore mice and certain USB or PS/2 adapters) with the machine turned on since you may short something.

As idrougge said. They warn about changing connectors when the machine is turned on, but there's only a tiny risk, especially for all-plastic moulded connectors as are on most mice and joysticks. The main risk comes from static (so touch the metal shielding beside the socket before you connect or disconnect), and from connecting other powered devices like printers, modems, monitors etc. that may have some funky voltages floating around.

It's for drivers which are not of the "device" type. Not used all that much in my experience.
