Steril707: From what I've gathered in this thread, bug fixing and polishing. Of course, what I know of bug fixing in my own career, that doesn't necessarily it's anywhere near release

Did anyone try contacting Cybergraphx4 developers about fixing old intuition.library dependencies?
Do you think they have the code but refuse (or would refuse) to let their code be fixed for the new intuition.library ? |

Last I heard, CyberGraphX is part of MorphOS and is inaccessible to Hyperion. Anyway, P96 is backwardly compatible to CGX 3 as long as you can get drivers for the cards.

Sorry, folks, as authors show no interest, what can we do? Well, except pimping P96? |

True. I'm happy to give a few € to actively supported software. I was a little sad to lose screen dragging but I haven't really missed it (and your sneak pic shows this is changing).
The problem will be cards that have no P96 support. |

Maybe if more people ask about it, it might happen. |

One feature that I like and use is SuperFloppy for ZIP drives etc. Has this been improved or able to be improved as I have found it works with 1230scsi.device and scsi.device but NOT with gvpscsi.device and usbscsi.device. I have found this on my systems, might be different for other people. Maybe it's a limitation of those particular SCSI controllers (latest firmware in all)?

@Storm
SuperFloppy is already working under 3.1.4. Just make sure you are using the correct mountlist which is explained in section 2.11 of the 3.1.4 FAQ: http://nl.aminet.net/docs/help/AmigaOS_3.1.4-FAQ.txt |

@Gulliver
I followed the FAQ and got it to work correctly on my A1200 with a Blizzard 1260 and SCSI but it doesn’t want to play ball on my A2000 with a GVP combo card or my A4000 using USB ZIP drive. |

That's a shame. It's in OS4 (which uses a version of P96), but maybe it comes down to the way it's implemented not suiting classic graphics cards?

This seems to be such an amazing new version of the OS.
Can't wait... |
