Checking in on this future classic. Where is it?
I thought it would be a few weeks away from getting the case and that was April. |

Christmas 2025 for the ten year anniversary would be a nice round date.

I am sorry you all feel that way.
I am still very passionate about this game and extremely passionate about making it the best game we can possibly make. I'll stop by with an update for those that still have faith in the game. Thanks everyone. |

Yeah, cos the best way to encourage people doing these things in their spare time is to post about how the project is probably dead on a forum

Thank you guys for supporting Magnus, myself and the project, it's a lot of work and your support is helping me through a very difficult time in my life.
To those commenting that they have lost all interest or that the game is dead...why not just unsubscribe from this thread? Simples ![]() Anyone taking cheap snipes at me will be ignored from now on. I simply have better things to do. I thought I would show off the early packaging renders to those who are wanting to get a big-boxed version of the game one day, these have been put together from photographs captured from a CRT screen (to keep that authentic old school feel from the packaging back in the day). This is for our own version of Scourge, as I have mentioned elsewhere, we're actually making 2 different versions of the game (I think you can imagine the workload). The A1200.net version will differ from ours (quality is maintained between both versions). I am producing an update video that will better explain this as and when time allows, I appreciate your patience. I shall post a link to the update video soon. ![]() Thanks again for any support we get, we're on the home stretch now and as tough as it is now I can't wait to see people playing it when it's all done and dusted ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Looks fine, but it's STILL a 3D-render, but NOT a real thing, as years ago...

Don't know why anyone has a go at a dev on a project that is in ongoing development, since you know, there are 1000s of AMIGA games to tinker with in the meantime ..
Looking forward to it when it arrives, looks and sounds incredible ![]() |

Don't stress Wayne, I know the game is going to be awesome. Life can be brutal and Amiga projects like this are supposed to be a fun diversion from life's difficulties. Try to enjoy the process as much as you can. It will yield a better final result as well as provide you with an outlet from the difficult time you are having in your personal life. Take your time my man, Amiga is just a fun hobby that should give you pleasure, not stress. After the game comes out, nobody will even remember or care how long it took to make it. There are many incredible Amiga projects that have been in the works for years and haven't come out yet so you are not alone. I am aging some whiskey here for the release party, so the longer it takes, the whiskey will just taste that much better when the game is finished

I think that a bit more regular updates would keep the negative comments away.
Fans of the game wants to know that the team is making progress and hear what is happening with the game. There have been long periods without any communication from the dev team. This is just a tip, and no bad critique. |

So, 2024 has already arrived, but we still haven’t seen the game release as New Year’s gift...

Full respect for anyone who creates new code for our beloved AMIGA, but continuing to hope in this project is truly useless. I don't care anymore if it's when it comes out, although I would always gladly buy it.
When this game was announced I wasn't yet a father and started a family, we're talking about 10 years ago... let's not joke... I think it's also disrespectful towards those who, every year, give us new software, sometimes even for free. |

And I'm sure that it's better to spend time coding the game, and not on "Photoshoop & 3DSoft", rendering beautiful pictures of the box covers. |

Could it be that the developers bit off more than they could chew. I wouldnt be able to code a game as much as id love to have the skills to do it. The Amiga isnt easy to code for.
