An important note...
Galahad too has to consider that people who have waited AGES for this install mostly don't have the original disks anymore.
So I *presume* they will hesitate to register because without the original disks, they cannot play the game! Obvious, eh? So I hope that Palace Software (now part of Titus Interactive!) will appreciate Galahad's work and and give permission to upload also the images on whdload.de! HE is the reason that this game isn't buried in oblivion forever!! I think someone should write them. Last edited by andreas; 09 December 2002 at 20:47. |

Im sorry but i dont think the registration fee is "a bit much" when you consider the amount of money that is spent on PC stuff.
Do i want to see some pirates 10 year old boast everytime i want to play a game? Hacked games on numerous occasions chop out game intros or mess up later levels making a game unplayable. I'd rather play with originals of a game. I can't be bothered to keep changing my UAE configs in order to suit a game when Whdload does it for me. No no and no. As far as im concerned, ADFs and Floppies are a pain. I dont like changing disks real or virtual. The Amiga is the last of the home computers, its MORE than a games machine, otherwise youre treating it like an anonymous console. |

If it wasn't for everyones interest on here, I wouldn't have bothered with it. For me it was mainly the fact that Trilogy couldn't crack it, everyone else in WHDLoad had passed on it, and I relished a challenge. I didn't realise however just how much of of a poxy challenge the game turned out to be!!! Still, if nothing else, its got a healthy debate going about WHDLoad and the registration fee. Some prefer ADF swapping (which 40% of WHDLoad images are in any case), others prefer WHDLoad. I'm quite happy for someone to contact Titus and find out if they will allow the images to be hosted, and if they achieve that, then I will release the ADF version for WinUAE. Can't say fairer than that |

Does.... But the US version doesn't carry the on disk protection, just the encryption and the doc check.

Seriously again: I won't pay for a software I used not more than SEVEN times in two years (honestly, I kid you not!), and most of these times for testing stuff, not for actual playing!
And Galahad, I told you via PM as well (unfortunately you stopped replying to it) but you still persist in your viewpoint, as if there wasn't other users who used it a LOT more than me! Just because I'm a regular here, this doesn't give you ANY right to absolutely insist that I'm a frequent user of WHDload. That is literally a great load of bollocks. I've thought you were an insightful person! Regretfully though, I seem to have to revise my opinion about you! And just making dependent an ADF release dozens of users are waiting for on MY decision to register or not is just PLAIN SILLY. It can be in summer 2003 or in winter 2004 when I register? And you want to keep the ADF release so long behind your back like a kid hiding his toys behind his back? Oh dear. Unless ... you tell me sooner or later that was just a good joke. Even that wouldn't surprise me anymore. |

oh dear!
Do I really have to respond to this Andreas?
I think not! I do recall sometime ago saying I would release Dragons Breath as a Christmas Present. What date is it Andreas? Hmmmm...not December 25th then? Thought not! I won`t put you in the same context as fil, so I'm simply not going to say anything more on the subject. And your right Andreas.... you obviously don`t know me! |

Please ask the others if there didn't happen to be an AMBIGUOUS content in your post! I understood it that way, that independent from Christmas or not, you are not going to release it until I've registered! So apologies for my harsh words and PEACE. It's Christmas. |

The crucial thing is it to obtain a disk image of the original DB disk!
But it's exciting to see that lots of people have the original disk! (If I only reflect upon the extortionate price Galahad had to pay for the original! ) |
