btw .. with Kick 2.04 SysInfo shows the right size of the Slow-RAM with 1.7MB (exactly 1.75MB) and the boundary addresses r right too.
And with Kick 2.04 the priority of the Slow-RAM is "-5" and not equal to real Fast-RAM (priority "0") anymore. This speeds up the miggy a little since real Fast-RAM will be used first. Ciao, Rick ... |

To test this, just try Amiga formatting a HD disk to 880kB with the sensing hole covered. If this works, you're okay to go! ![]() Better get some sleep first, then, eh? ![]() |

Ok i managed to copy the sysinfo files onto a PC floppy disk and then copy the files onto my A1200... I could not see the files unless i selected "Show All"... is this normal? and my A1200 automatically mounts PC0: when i insert a PC disk
![]() The one thing i have noticed is all the files look the same with the hammer icon! I'm sure the .exe files are supposed to have a different icon? And it does not run straight away when i click on it... it comes up with a box and i have to confirm it first. All my other software on my A1200 does not do this? |

If u copied all files to the disk then u should see the original icons (*.info files) too.
But if no icons r there then the execute box will show up. If u copy SysInfo to an AMIGA disk then make the disk bootable with "install df0:". The disk will boot then straight to the CLI and there u can call "sysinfo". No Workbench needed. EDIT: Or you can put a "startup-sequence" in the "s" directory of the disk and call "sysinfo" from there. Then u can call "setpatch" before too. But don't forget to copy the WB1.3 "setpatch" file first. ![]() I did the screenshots without setpatch, maybe that's the reason why SysInfo didn't show the correct boundaries and priority "0". But with Kick 2.04 it was correct then. And u must call setpatch first if u got a FPU in your Kick 1.3 AMIGA! But not in your case. ![]() Ciao, Rick ...
