Okay, downloaded all the stuff, copied and extracted it, put the basefolder in my GameBase install, configured the path and my emulator and....
IT WORKS!!!

I see the screenshots, hear the music and can play the games Wasn't much of a hassle (thanks for the adjusted 'gamemove.bat'). I started about 10 games and all worked flawless
Thank you very, very much even for this beta version Retroplay

Another question : Which game has a fan translation so I can also test that?

It's going slow but steady.
Also I have updated to the newest no-intro dat.
Speaking of latest no-intro dat, I wonder why Nightmare Busters didn't make it into that.
Next time perhaps.

Newest no-intro dat? Does that mean I have to download the whole lot again or is there a kind of 'update'?

If you torrentZip the set you already leeched from UG you can update it with the new set uploaded there.
You just have to download the new torrent, start it and immediately stop it.
Copy all the roms from the old set into the new SNES folder your Torrent client created.
Run "Force re-check (or whatever it's called)" on that new folder.
It should then check what games you already have, once that's done you just start the torrent and it'll download the new games.

Not sure why, but Gamebase locks up when I choose Adventures of Tintin. I don't know if it does it on any other games as I have not tried it much yet. I considered bad screenshots, but resaving them with Paintshop Pro didn't fix the problem. Using Vista Ultimate x64. No SP1 (attempted installation of that failed dramatically).

Just checked it here (XP SP3) and it works fine. You should check if it happens for other games too. Do you have other Gamebases installed that work fine?

Where did you install gamebase???

Don't put it in Program Files as that's now protected. (or try to run GameBase with admin rights)

It works fine for me, but I installed it only on XP laptop. I don't have a time (nor need) to install it on Vista laptop.

Doh, there is an error. I'm missing 1 rom?! WTF?!

Actually, yes. I have three other Gamebase sets though I have yet to try the CPC one. I ran into this problem with only one other game, Winter Olympics '94, so it's yet possible that the same thing may occur in other sets. Deleting the screenshots for these games seems to have bypassed the problem. I never said, but I am using Gamebase 1.2. It is not installed to my program files (x86) directory. In fact, I install as little as possible to those directories (two of them on x64) due to potential problems. Instead, I created my own applications directory and install most things there.

one little mistake (or a to do ? )

"Baby T-Rex" is in the Musicfolder, but there is no Screenshot or Gamefile....
also not listed in the GB.
I've add it myself.

Or isn't it in the GB ,because, this is not a no-intro-Gamefile ?

The project is on stand by for the time being.
Life's been pretty crappy for me lately so I have alot of real life stuff going on I have to deal with.
However once I get through this I'll eventually start updating it again.
