Hi retrosale.co.uk,
thanks for your efforts and answers . Were the problematic tracks number 2-4 too? As for CDTV reading CD-R, I don't know as I have a CD32, but it may be worth to try out different media as the reflection level might be different. But I don't really think the image would work, as in my opinion the problem with WinUAE only showing the ICOM screen is not a bug in WinUAE, but the problem of the drive reading the CD so WinUAE doesn't get all data from it. As I said before it's probably the best to try imaging the CD on a CDTV/CD32. |

Just tried to log into the FTP but I'm getting a "Can't read from control socket. Socket error = #10054" message?!
Any ideas? |

Yay, I'm in!
Right, the Prehistorik upload is underway (albeit VERY slowly) but a word of warning: the PC I'm using to upload is prone to freezing every now and again, so if it seems that the transfer has finished but the file-size isn't 193Mb [202,637,985 bytes] don't bother downloading it*, as it's likely that this 'puter would have crashed. I'm out for most of the day, so I won't be able to keep an eye on the transfer, but if something does go wrong, I wouldn't be able to resume the transfer till this evening. * = obviously this doesn't apply to The Boss, as I assume I'm uploading to one of his local drives?! Has anybody tried Sherlock Holmes on a real CDTV/CD32 yet? Does it work?

I downloaded the trail version of Alcohol but it´s not able to burn SH. The image size is about 600 MB but when I try to open it in a virtual CD Drive it´s only 25 MB and there is nothing what I´d call video files. |
