WoW the codemaster CD didn't reach the reserve and the other Rainbow arts one went for £103 who was daft enough to pay that much for an old idea that did't sell when it was avaiable back then

Maybe the buyer intends to copy the hardware as well as duplicating the CD for his/her mates, I can't think of any other reason someone would so easily part with real money on that scale.

I reckon the bidder will back out and we'll see it up again. That said they have a high feedback score.

Your probably right alexh,

I personally think the seller did not do himself any favours by the actions he took. The reserve price is still a mystery to me as I was watching the other auction that got to £32 without reaching the magic number, as I previously mentioned, I would not knowingly bid on any item that this sort of underhanded tactics had been used on but I would have thought that £32 plus postage would have been a pretty good price for both parties for this sort of thing if the buyer was a serious collector.

Did you also see this the buyer is at zero and the price went up to £400, some very strange behaviour at this sellers auctions, maybe a peeved previous bidder of one of those cancelled auctions at work or another lets have some fun guys, if the buyer was serious then he definitely forgot to take his medication (at least a months worth I would say)
