Hey Mavado, thanks for the offer. I appreciate it. However I think I can handle it, I just read the tute and I think I was saving compressed save states. I'll give you a PM if I need help.
cheers. "men and animals were turned into delicious coca-cola" "a cloud of fun descended over the land" I half tempted to make this. |

If I were the author of the "Chaos Engine 3" I would strongly consider changing the name of the project. The game is being copyrighted and the people behind it make profits on mobiles. If Selur claims the author of the project should not care about anything concerning copyrights, I would be happy to see him as the manager or a lawyer of that person and see his cold feet when something goes wrong. Copyrights infringement is considered serious crime, especially in case of software and it does not matter if you agrees with it or not. It won't be me who will be doing time. |

Mailman, read his posts again, you seem to have misread his point of view (unless I am not understanding yours). Selur was actually saying that the name should be changed...
@ Selur: ... but the way you said it all was downright insulting. Who are you to push your own opinions as facts like that, when you don't even know anything about the project or the people working it? |

Actually it would be a better remake/remastered version if you do it from scratch. This commercial release some month ago was embarrassing.

I was playing around in photoshop a while ago and made these, although a full sprite set would take so much time and I wished I had enough to do it. But you never know, maybe Dan Malone will return and create an updated C.E we can all love like the original

I wish! Haha!
One day I hope they will remake The Chaos Engine, but I REALLY hope Dan Malone is back on-board to create the art assets, he is the logical choice for it |

Does anyone have the ocs/ecs tilemaps and sprites handy?
I need them for a project (no I am not remaking chaos engine, and I plan to only use the gfx as a temporary placeholder). And no, don't ask me what I am doing. I am not committing to anything at this point! |

Would have been great if we had a "fixed" version that run 50 fps instead of 25fps. :P Surely Amiga would have been able to run Chaos Engine at 50 fps?
There is a PC remake of this game. Maybe offering a drink with those guys, one would be able to peek at their laptops for the assets? |
