I didn't even realise there was a later tosec so I'll have a look and see what I can replace. LSL1 disk 3 has already been replaced with the one mai put in the zone. I think a few of those don't have good copies available and I know Ultima IV is reported wrongly because it's a 2 disk game, the "missing" files are on the other disk.

Are mixed cracks a problem or should they work OK with each other ?
Humans, The (1992)(Mirage)(Disk 1 of 3)[cr Ministry] Humans, The (1992)(Mirage)(Disk 2 of 3)[cr CSL] Humans, The (1992)(Mirage)(Disk 3 of 3)[cr Ministry] 2 Helter Skelter's get detected, same year and publisher. they weren't mixed cracks when I put the disks together
I generally try and make sure all the disks get accessed so that I know the disks work with each other, I'll look into the mixed cracks though, it could just that tosec made a mistake naming them..we are all human As for Helter Skelter there are actually two versions, the Ackerlight version is the 1988 one whereas the SR is the actual 1990 copy. The 88 ver has a different title screen and if you look at the variety of review dates I'm pretty sure the 88 version was a genuine release. I'm looking at the bad copies at the moment, 1000 miglia, there's no good crack it seems....(Galahad???) and I've put a comment in GameBase as no good crack known but best available. Double Dragon I've replaced, thanks for spotting that one. I'm going to carry on checking now and report back in a bit. |

Just in case..
Snow Bros, the only 100% working cracked copy is Galahads FINALBETAFIX aka "Do not spread" 1 disk version. All other versions has a tendency to skip back to title screen occasionally during gameplay. http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...&postcount=103 |

Anyway just looked through what tosec reports as problem disks and these are my findings 1000 Miglia Apparently all bad cracks...I've marked it as such in GameBase, Abu Simbel Profanation contains a virus, there are no clean versions ADI Reading 6-7 disk 2 and 3 corrupt files, no good versions known Aventures de Moktar Apparently this is a beta copy but no crack of the final version exists? Double Dragon Replaced! Great Courts Does this game have manual protection? if yes then I need the clean qtx crack, if not I can use the extended adf John Madden Replaced! Karate Kid Part II trained versions are bad doscopys, I don't want to replace unless its known that the game is actually broken Kenny Dalglish Soccer Match already replaced, the adf is not in tosec Kinderama Replaced! Kwasimodo Corrupt file but it's the best available adf... Lords of Doom another corrupt file but it's the best available for ver 1.00... Neuronics Needs replacing, does anyone have the fixed version? crc=5bd1ab2f Pit-Fighter disk 1 needs replacing with Pit-Fighter (1991)(Tengen - Domark)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr ATX][t +19 ATX] crc=b6c22f60 I need a copy of this disk Rainbow Islands apparently most are bad doscopys but I'm reluctant to replace the +11 flashtro version unless someone tells me the game really is broken Retee 2 = disk 2 had a corrupt file but again it's the best available... Roadwars cracked versions all have errors, there's one clean uncracked version but does it needs cracking or is it perfectly playable? Seven Cities of Gold Apparently all disk 1's are bad doscopys Shaq Fu (ocs) I need a copy of the clean disk 5 crc=f563a9f2 Sony Game bad doscopy, only trained version available, I'd like it proven it doesn't work before replacing Time Race I need a copy of disk 2 crc=7ce683f2 Tower of Souls disk 1 is bad, both copies of the trained disk 1 are bad, does the trainer break the game? I don't like replacing trained versions with non trained if i can help it Typhoon = no good copies, this is the best available... |

There's a guy on gb64 forum who is editing your gamebase and zipping all the games together and making everyone download that (trying to steal your thunder ?). Now every official and correct update that you release is going to be completely different to his. I am going to stick with your original format. I don't understand the point of him doing this ?

Thanks but .mad just has his own way of doing things, he prefers merged sets, it's his choice, he does provide the original database as well so that people can choose. I'm grateful to him for making the files available for people to download.

Level 40 is affected, there are some batteries missing and i suppose this makes the level more difficult! I have added 2 screenshots as proof, on left side of picture of doscopy image are 4 batteries missing on map. Should be possible to fix trained version! Hi everyone. I'm trying to get this working and not having much luck. I installed the items into their directories, but it still isn't working. I've changed gemus.dat file to read 1.0, but winuae doesn't show up and when I try to use emulation setup wizard, I get the error "No Valid Emulator Definitions Could Be Found In The DAT File!" and when I try to add WinUAE manually, Gamebase acts like it wants to work, but only loads the emulator when I try to run a game, not the game itself. Is there a detailed set of instructions I could follow to get this set up? Thanks.

I don't even know where to start now. I don't know where the files, are or anything. Tough luck I guess. |

I have thousand of adf files (games and apps). Is there a CRC32 database to try to automatically identify all of them?
Question 2 : the file GameBase Amiga 2.0.mdb contains 3000 games (zip found) and a lot of missing games, but the verify.txt doesn't say nothing about these missing files. Where are them? Thanks |
