Tested pulse_-_impulse-tracker-demo, I dragged the module onto the Eagle Player and had no problem playing the module :9 Last edited by AMIGASYSTEM; 24 July 2020 at 13:08. |

I just downloaded and tried that (both opening via the file button and by dragging). Both times, it tells me "Unknown soundformat!" |

Dunno if they're / he / she is gonna read it but, wow, thanks for the very significant update ! Been using it for decades, that's great one of the major players is still supported. Modules are in the top reasons why we love the Amiga. Even Deliplayer for Windows has been abandoned... 16 years ago !!

How to update old EP to V2.06? Does Installer script won't overwrite some important files like my own settings?

You can update everything manually except the files in the "Configs" folder, but you must first backup the old version.

Nice to see that the minimum requirements would mean that Amiga A1200 should be sufficient to run this!
Just a query, does playing mods via Amiga offer any advantage to using mod players on PC? |

4 voice mods use the audio DMAs so those mods do. More voices than that require some sort of mixer and those mods are at a disadvantage on Amigas without sound cards.

I just want this for mods that would ordinarily be ripped from games rather than custom made by other artists.
I'm assuming since the mods ripped from games ran natively then they should work? |

a bit stupid question.. is it using AHI drivers like Ami AMP, or did you make your own low level mixing routines??

This is just an info for all people who use EaglePlayer
I spotted that with version 2.06 the volume is lower than previous 2.05 release of the same player This is normal, but it can be "fixed" Just disable the "14 Bit Amplifier" (via the Amplifier manager) which is used by default In this way the "ChipRam Amplifier" or "FastRam Amplifier" will be used and the volume will come back to its "normal" output (higher volume) Regards, chip |

As i said, it's the default amplifier the culprit for the low volume
I guess 14 Bit Amplifier is set as default since this is able to play also more than 4 voices (for example Oktalyzer modules can be up to 8 voices) Instead the ChipRam or FastRam amplifiers can play maximum to 4 voices |
