NLS:
1. As I wrote before it was just a quick job, so I know there are issues. 2. According to the reference photos I got the coord doesn't get yellow over time as the main plastic. Sure they maybe had similar color when it was brand new. Photon: hehe..scary... And we're both from Sweden.. I learned html around 1995 and php around 2001 so not that recently.. |

black dirt sticks on the cable (like most cables)
also I am talking about wrong colors on the original clean version - looks like the cable and mouse don't fit together (meaning "color match" - they never were the same, but they looked "nice" one next to the other, unlike the render) I am only saying those to guide you to perfection that I don't already love what you do |

cronos: go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3D_modeling_software
then google for "<softwarename> render tutorial" Most of the 3d modeling software have trial versions, and Blender is free. You model something (say, a couple cubes and a ground plane) and then hit a function key. (Most come with renderers, and there are free renderers.) Modeling a mouse - well, making a cube with rounded corners is hard enough, do that first I'm at digitaltutors.com (even though I've kinda outgrown most of their tutorials, they have good skill level spread for newbies and semi-pros alike ) |

Thanks Photon. I have downloaded and installed Blender. I also found lots of tutorials.
Tweaking a cube sounds easy. Looking at the Blender interface is... complex.. But, I am sure I will learn to model a cube with rounded corners eventually.. And, thanks for the digitaltutors.com website. It will come in handy when I move up |

@bLAZER
I have always felt i was pretty good with modeling and rendering packages.... and then i see this work and i have to admit, If i had half of the amount of talent that your work shows here, i would indeed be a rich man! photo real... to be honest quite a few of your works i could not tell the difference! and i pride my self on knowing CGI! |

This render mouse deserves a crown!
Maybe you should tweak the plug edges a little bit. |

Yes, it seems as if the edge radius from original mouse is a little greater.
