I just compared files on CD and all files have identical CRCs. I think there are 2 catalogs becuse game can be run directly from CD. So there's no Geografia v1.0. Last edited by rygar; 20 April 2023 at 00:12. |

The Geografia 1.0 I was thinking about is this one:
https://www.mobygames.com/game/19960...ia-polski-v10/ this is the one you uploaded: https://hol.abime.net/6703 EDIT: The Geografia 1.0 can't work without the 2.0 disk, so it will always be 2.0 version for me. It doesn't matter as they are actually not that different, no need for a special entry (like on mobygames). Plus I can't be bothered with it. What is the BIRD collection? Sorry for that. I noticed my error and removed links. BIRD collection you can find on FTP Collection\Compilation\Bird It's 35CDs full of software (lot of Polish one). This compilation was created by peoples who trade amiga stuff "on streets" in '90 in Poland. Quite uniqe collection. Quote:

Nah it's ok, I edited my post. I have sent the TSS compilation to Karsa on mobygames, somehow he made 1.0 works, but when I look more closely it's not much different than the 2.0 version, so no point for it |

I've added the two developers. That 'Official Amiga Seal Of Quality' on the last one... Don't think that Nintendo would have been too happy about it if they found out

The Rookies' Kolo Fortuny looks like bootleg/hack rather than an official release.
Also, I can't find B.B. and Q.U.S. Soft's versions. |

Take a look at pictures i provided. Rookies version is official release. On box you can spot GameTek logo. B.B. you can find here -> https://thecompany.pl/gra/Fortuna Q.U.S. is MIA but on mobygames are screenshots from game so it exists somewhere |

If it was sold in Poland maybe it should be changed to 'Commercial' even if it is a hack? I've added a note about it being unofficial.

Anyway if pirated (boxed) versions are OK for HOL too, then Mortal Kombat II info must/can be updated for 4 disks US version. This is cracked by Mok/Prestige version of this game without cracktro, sold by any pirate(s) in USA. "This patch applies to "Mortal Kombat 2" (c) 1994 Acclaim - 3/4 disks. Thanks to Carlo Pirri and Mad-Matt for the 3 disk version and Chris Vella for the 4 disk US version!" |

Yeah, those 'corner cases' are not easy to solve... It's just no other category that we currently have fits the 'is a modified unofficial version and was sold' mold. We might need a new category for those kind of games (I just assume that this wasn't the only game that got hacked and sold).

Courbois games are notorious for this. They released a bunch of PD games marked as their own. Also some other cases exist like Judo-Atemi etc... |

I started a discussion about it with the team. I guess we'll end with a better way to label those games. There's also some German publishers that put PD games in a package and sold them for some money.
