Who is dumb enough to point out this retro game page ??

^ Probably me LOL but I ended up making a video of development progress earlier and more recently posted loads of screenshots here anyway. I wasn't sure if it was publicly visible on that instagram link given my insta account is private. Not sure tho why any of the content would be reported - just another Amiga game IMHO. Oh well I tried.

Wiz in CyberPunks land!

Quick peek at progress of CyberPunks 2 (Amiga AGA) after about a week of coding. Here we have the initial mash-up of maps, palettes, music, copperlist, status panels and large playfield objects loaded with basic but fully functional memory management for seamless sub-level play later. I'll probably start work on it again after Christmas into 2023.

Season's Greetings

Youtube video here...

[video since removed but will be replaced with a better one later]

Hi ! Thanks for the progress report :-) Keep up the great work ! Meanwhile, getting back to Wiz and CP 1
(BTW, will you re-release some physical copies of your past games by any chance ?)

Thanks guys.

The previous games are all sold out as you may know, but there may be a small run of physical micro series cased titles near release of cyberpunks 2.

Regards cyberpunks 1, that is now only available on the CD32 gold compilation in
digital download .iso format from my mini website below.

Hoping to do a limited release of cyberpunks 2 on physical cd32 cdrom too next time round

Season's Greetings to all,

Adrian

Yes, can't wait until the game has progressed enough for your rescue to be attempted. That first boss will be pretty mean but not too hard to beat hopefully

Couple of WIP update videos below...

Anim tiles and sprite masks all going in over the next week or so on all levels.

This newer game now uses a coordinate move-to and targeting system. Later on as the game evolves, the other non-human players will go and grab any bonus items they see and move to/fire at on screen aliens etc autonomously from the main human player where they can.

Any non-human player's that get left behind in the game map now also catch up to the main human player in the second video after a short flash of their sprite.

The collision is turned off in the second video so I could better reach that part of the map to test the anims.

Happy New Year.
