Phew, just finished adding Napalm: The Crimson Crisis into my collection

...this took a good few hours to get everything running well

Had to follow the usual process that I do with all my .HDFs:

a) Install the game from the [AmigaCD] to my temporary "Classic WB 3.1 Lite" .HDF.
b) Install "RTGMASTER_USER.LHA", as without this it won't run even in AGA mode.
c) Install the latest NAPALM Patch V1.4 (68K).
d) Set all required options so that the CD audio plays within the game.
e) Work out the best configuration / settings to be used.
f) Once all the above steps / process were understood, create a clean .HDF.

Nice work Damien but how do you manage to incorporate the CD audio into the game without it looking for the real CD?

When it comes to playing audio tracks with [AmigaCD] games you do need the CD mounted

...it's about what you configure via WinUAE for the settings of the CD-ROM drive i.e "uaescsi.device".

Yup, was a mission as all [AmigaCD] games are when installing to .HDF but have it working perfectly with audio tracks (which you won't find with any recent WHDLoad installs floating about).

You tweak & configure daily on the PC side I tweak & configure daily on the raspberry pi side. It feels like a neverending ride. But it does feel rewarding at the end of the day.

On a side note. Will napalm play without the CD mounted? If not is it possible to make that happen? The pi still has CD mounting issues.

Guessing the CD image for Napalm will be taking much of the data in this update

The background color in Fruit Salad when you collect all items is insane

Hmmm, maybe but haven't had the need to try.

...easy for you to test though.

If it doesn't let me know and I'll slap something together for use in your Pi project.

As I suspected. Game will not run if the CD is ejected. If possible can you create a HDF version with NoCD?

Other then that this update pack is fantastic!! It's really nice looking through the artwork and from what I can tell a lot of games I have tried all boot up perfectly.

I just tested Napalm and it works great but had a strange problem where the CD audio continued playing after quitting the game. It was even still playing when I was in the Winuae game browser. It would only stop when I quit winuae.

That's weird.

When you say you quit the game do you mean you exited in-game so that you were taken back to Workbench?

I didn't quit to workbench via the game instead I pressed F12 and clicked the Restart button in Winuae.
