think you will find I asked a general question that covered both the subject of the main reason for the thread and the other that you mentioned and got a reply.

I tested the Metro Siege's 3-level demo on my PiStorm-RPi 4B-Emu68-A500 Rev6A (with ECS Denise upgrade) and it works fine. I look forward to "Super Final Fight". Final Fight Enhanced is hard coded for 2MB Chip RAM equipped Amigas, hence knocking out 1 MB Chip RAM capable A500 Rev 6A (ECS Agnus A, OCS Denise) majority. I played Final Fight Enhanced on my A1200. A500 Rev 6A with Fast RAM is a no-go for Final Fight Enhanced. A500 rev 6A is the definitive A500 model which makes up the majority of the Amiga models. My last Amiga purchase in the 1990s is the A3000 which I sold in 1996. |

Was a textbook case of "devs are testers" - i know well because was part of the devs (graphics and music)

That is simply ego feeding, no human being would not mind some of it, is so normal that should not even be mentioned and is not an entirely bad thing ^^

Yes there is. Download this unreleased beta from retroplays folder here. https://ftp2.grandis.nu/turransearch...0&httplinks=on You will also need to update the whdload_db file on the A500mini usb stick in the game data folder. You can download the latest build from here https://github.com/HoraceAndTheSpide...whdload_db.xml The game should then work. If you get an error about chipmem then go into the game settings and change the memory config to 2mb chip and 8mb fast and that should fix it. |

This worked a treat! Thank you so much! I'm playing it under Pandory to get scan lines. It Ran too fast even with A600 2MB + 8MB Fast Ram selected. Also had to select CPU 'more compatible' and CPU type '68000'. The it all worked at the correct speed with no speed ups with no enemies on the screen. I hope that I don't get any Belger bugs at the end playing like this! It is awful when you get to the end and he doesn't enter the screen correctly so you can't win! This happens all the time when I play it under AMiNIMiga! |

Today I tried to play FFE whdload version on an a500 rev8.
Setup is : ECS Agnus 2mb chipram on board. OCS Denise ACA500plus, kickstart 3.1. FFE displayed on screen that it needs ECS Amiga and asked me to reset. Is a Super Denise mandatory for playing ? Thanks all ! Last edited by Crossmanbx; Today at 00:24. |
