There's a bit of speculation around and about as to the correct levels in Rainbow Arts' The Wall.
There are several ADFs but I don't see an SPS/CAPS entry? |

I have an original copy of The Wall. Pretty sure I dumped it for SPS but must have been rejected for some reason I can no longer remember. I do have a GreaseWeazle now so I could redump it.

That would be great I'm sure somebody in this thread will create IPFs within a few days: https://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=62217

I've dumped it and it's in the flux images folder on the FTP (SCP). I've also sucessfully loaded it under WinUAE.

Think you've found the reason why no official IPF was made

Indeed, disk 2 is Joshua 2 virus infected.
I Zoned the original virus free adfs from Yori's UnRenamed. Disk 1 is identical to Belgarath's disk 1. |

Thanks chaps. I've been looking at the TOSEC ADFs and there are at least two hacks (the original game did include risque images too) and what appears to be the original levels going by the box art.
Problem is, I remember a very different set of levels - first was not a blue planet, it was a forest with a moon above pine trees. And it was a professional-looking labelled disk very similar to the disk images floating around online. So either there are more than one official version out there, or my copy was altered. I'd like to find out which it is |

I guess that the virus went to the duplication..... how stupid.... I'll see with Istvan what we can do regarding this.

Seeing as the French IPF (#2768) of Zombi was created with the 'Lamer Exterminator 4' virus on it then if that's how it was duplicated then that's how it should be released!!

SPS policy is to release IPFs with viruses if they were mastered with them. |

Yes, no way to authenticate a disk BEFORE it was duplicated only AFTER!! So, there could be a number of 'modifed' disks that were duplicated and released and no one would know? But, you can only preserve what was sent to the duplicators!!

there is way of course. The duplication machine uniformize all the gaps before writing.
If the virus was on the master, you won't see any modification. However, modification happening on an Amiga due to user save or game save on disk will be seen. |
