I used this a new version posted by you today
This morning no version even the "normal" version was not working, maybe it depended on my PC or some other reason I don't know. This afternoon I re-did the Tests and all versions including this one a new version worked perfectly on OS 3.9 BB4 (AfA One) Whereas with OS 3.2.1 this "a new version" works only with Aminet, if I try to search on ModArchive or Modules.pl WinUAE goes to Guru. |

So that makes sense: there's something wrong with my use of SSL_connect() and AmigaOS v3.2, which invites the Guru I'll work on that soon! |

I made a small video showing how AmiMoodRadio AmiSSL works with OS 3.9 BB4 on ModArchive, Modules.pl and other links available on AmiModRadio.

Hi all!
Thanks, many thanks!, to Thomas, the (infamous) bugs that froze the console in AmigaOS v3.2 is fixed Thanks to AmigaSystem and Patrik, I also fixed a problem of stack sizes for sub-tasks I fixed other (logic) problems and cleaned up the code a bit, so this new (still beta) version should run well on AmigaOS v3.1 (tested on my real Amiga) and AmigaOS v3.2 (tested in WinUAE). Please let me know! |

Hi all!
I'm very happy to share with you a new beta version with some more internal improvements, thanks to great help here on EAB :Agree In particular AMR will stop downloaded files if they are too big even if the server doesn't return their sizes, it won't wait forever players that may not respond to ARexx messages before quitting, and it has a much, much reduced size! Cheers! |

Hi all!
I'm happy to release AmiModRadio, v0.99997! It fixes fixes bugs #84 and #126, which means that AMP is now a new source, with another 100,000 modules available! It also includes some cleanup of the code to simplify and strengthen it. The lists of directories/files (when available, depending on the source) now work as you'd expect. As usual, it can be downloaded, along with its source code:
Please contribute by asking for features, reporting bugs, or offering other translations! Cheers! |

Hello there. Version 0.99996 worked for me fine. This new 0.99997 crashed my V2 A1200 running 3.2.1 as soon as i chose aminet mod library to fetch music. That was my first attempt so i had to revert back to 0.99996

I confirm the new v0.99997 crashes both OS3.9 and OS 3.2
v0.9999b worked fine with both systems ! |

Hi all!
@npagonis73 and @AmigaSystem: that's very strange because it works well on my v3.2. Could you give me more details? Also, could you please run with SnooopDOS? Without Startup-Sequence? (My v3.2 is really "bare-bone" and in WinUAE.) Just a thought: could you please first delete your cache drawer and try again? Cheers! Last edited by tygre; 29 January 2023 at 21:19. With OS 3.2 it is not possible to monitor with Snoopdos, this is because it crashes WinUAE and quits
With OS3.9 I have a Guru that shows the error, see screenshot ! Check that the version of AmiModRadio in Download is not different or corrupted! Without Startup-Sequence, stops for MUI libraries request. Last edited by AMIGASYSTEM; 22 February 2023 at 19:31. |

Thanks AmigaSystem!
Interestingly, I could obtain a Guru (a different one from yours, though) only with the release version, compiled with some optimisations, not the debug version, compiled without optimisations... The investigation continues... ... And I found the source of the Guru: a memory allocation of zero byte with malloc(), which returns not NULL without optimisations and NULL with optimisations I'm going to fix this properly and release a new version! Update: I just uploaded a new version 0.999977, which corrects this bug, in Aminet (will be visible later), BitBucket, SourceForge, and my Web site! Cheers!
