This is interesting. All the reviews I could find are from 1989 too. I've changed the release year.

I saw these but I'm not sure what MB you get from these?

Ideally want 1MB SIMM to max it out.

I finally decided to order a pi storm for my A500. I am now just debating as to what core should I use. I believe 1 version allows for the use of wifi but is slower than the EMU68 core. however the EMU68 does not allow networking at the moment (as far as I know).

Got a BlueScsi v2 = Works with a Single Image File
but not with 2 > or CD Images

"gvpscsi.device: unit 000
Unexpected Status $4E/$20"

Also got SCSI Zip 250 drive to try with the GVP/BlueScsi

I does not work
IE No Spin Up, No Flashing and No Eject
(had to poke a wire in a hole)

All seller says is "It's worth £200
and install the drivers"

KMM591000BN-7 is 1MB SIMM so did you buy 4 to get 4MB?

BTW I have 4MB now in mine. I bought 4 x 1MB SIMMs.

You might want to test your RAM with Amiga Test Kit. I accidentally assumed I had 8MB and set jumper to that and sure enough Workbench stated 8MB too! However, ATK reported error. Setting the GVP jumpers to 4MB and it passed all the tests.

Update: ignore, I forgot yours already came with 2 SIMMs inserted already!

Purchased the following over the recent weeks:

2 x A600
- Both warranty sealed and in excellent condition.
- Both needed recap but drives appear to be good.

2 x external floppy disk drives.
- Appears to be smooth on reading of disks but will need to test properly.

SX-1 for the CD32.
- I wanted to keep one of my CD32s stock so decided this would be a good solution (the other hopefully will be running TF accelerator of some sort once it has been fixed)
- Anyone got one of these to help point me in the correct direction for compatible AT (ideally mechanical) keyboard?

1 x Commodore 1084S monitor.
- Very impressed with the image quality and it has nice LOUD and sharp speakers!

Several boxed games - they're all in very good condition but I don't have space for them so might sell on.

If you could take a quick picture of the games I would check if there's something interesting for HOL among them

Pi Storm B and a Pi Zero 2 W

a VGA cable for Xbox 360,
as the Component to 3.5mm does not work, and text is YUCK !
Also a 360 HDD Transfer Cable
and 2.5mm Male to 3.5mm Female Audio Jack

a cheap (£3.70) 32 GB USB thumb drive

Also a couple of Graphic Novels (Heroes 2 & Superman: Endgame)

#Update#
The VGA cable does not work ?!?!
Does the Xenon not support VGA

The Thumb drive turned out to be a 2 TB fake
which had been partitioned.

Which 500 should I stick the PiStorm in ?
The basic 500 or the Plus with the GVP/BlueScsi drive ?

@lesta_smsc

The SX-1 needs at least an 8MB Ram Simm to work well. In my experience having both Ram and a HD installed can lead to power issues!

I don't really collect Amiga games, they're a bit too pricey for my pocket, but when I saw this one (from my All Time Top 3) for ~25E I couldn't resist.

Thank you! I've purchased an 8MB RAM stick. I hope it works!

As for HDD, I think spinners will require more power but hopefully a CF might be ok?

Not really bought it, but I got this Norwegian A500 for free. Original box, original A501 RAM expansion, original RF modulator, one joystick, original mouse and some floppies.

Yellowed keys though... And had to remove the leaking A501 battery and neutralize the damage with vinegar.
