You can't have an expertise in that. You can be better than others at turning an opinion into an entertaining story though. Pretty sure we didn't get the magazines to just accumulate some random scores, we got them to read the review that came with it.

Re: Fairlight interview with Galahad.
I've only watched half of this up till now, but so-far it's been brilliant. Really interesting and informative. I'm looking forward to finishing off the whole video very soon. @outsiderz: Cheers for the heads up ! |

DooM is a genre of its own for me, filled with all games made with Id Tech 2. Doom is a Doom game, Heretic is a Doom game, Strife is a Doom game.

He makes some vaild points. I wouldn't say that Wolfenstein 3D killed anything, but it certainly made it very hard to ignore that the PC was a up and coming gaming machine.

His titles are generally negative clickbait. That doesn't mean I think it is wrong. It was a good overview of the progress on the Amiga. It'd be good to see similar videos on different topics of how the Amiga has been pushed over time.

I don't agree with it at all to be honest. Wolf3d did not kill the amiga. It is the fact that gaming would have had to be responsible to save it that did. If something is a gaming machine, that machine is destined to be replaced.

Commodore would of had to put there hands in there pocket and pay themselves for ports of what was current at the time. Or update the hardware adequately.
