?????????I don't really post my stuff anywhere apart from put stuff on YouTube and hope it sticks, so I hope this is OK. I recently put together a video of how I combine Deluxe Paint animations on the Amiga with using tools like Photoshop, Aseprite and iMovie to create animations and sequences that can be enjoyed well, on pretty much anything these days.

I don't really like "promoting" my work, I've always been like let it be organically found and thrive if it deserves it but my viewing figures have been really on a major decline for about 4 years now, and it would be great if my stuff was a bit wider watched. I guess because I don't really do social media (incl. forums) and tend to keep myself to myself these days that's a hard sell!

Hey Vix

I think that organic reach is becoming less of a thing ¯\_(?)_/¯

I think your stuff of course deserves a wide audience <3

I guess so, I'm not going into it but as I have retreated from being much of a presence on social media (beyond posting videos) and my timezone difference, it's done a number on me over the years.

Thanks for your kindness Paulee

Well if I am back in the Uk and I’m available to get around I’m always good for meeting up it’s just not cheap to get back to the Uk and if I do, it’s not easy to get around the country with no car and little money — trains in japan are both generally affordable, clean and on time, as opposed to the British delayed, cancelled, dirty and obscenely expensive ones!

Amiga Kit: How To Run a Full Time Amiga Business in 2024 - The Retro Hour EP415
[ Show youtube player ]

Interesting interview about Amiga with AmigaKit guy, talking about their A600 GS device (qualified as low cost) that:
* Hooks up to your TV via HDMI.
* Powered by USB C.
* Has some pre-loading of applications like AmiBench, PPaint, Octamed (have source code and have modified it).
* ARM-based.
* Comes with mouse and joy(pad?).

Be interesting to hear more.

Still can't believe they gave Ruffian 10%, I think it's one of the Amiga's best platformers https://eab.abime.net/showthread.php...hlight=ruffian

The Insider Secrets to Task Manager, Pinball, and More: [ Show youtube player ]
Dave Plummer talks about a lot of different topics including how his coding experience was on an Amiga at 17:37 of the video.
Edit: Another interesting Amiga bit is at 30:01 when he talks about 'technology wow moments'.

A lot of the time people saying they are the experts in how good games are, are just people saying they are the experts in how good games are and have a platform we don't.
