Just unwrapped these. Crystal castles and missile command are in great condition with the exception of some artwork which needs replaced. Outrun is working but needs tidying up. More on the way...

The trackball lights up red which is pretty cool. This in my opinion is possibly the nicest arcade cabinet artwork there was, it’s simply stunning. I never actually played this back in my Atari 2600 days and really only discovered it a couple of years ago in NY and just thought it was such a lovely game.

I bought a USB-JTAG adaptor... sadly it is clocked at frequency too high so may have to go with another option. Parallel port variants (wiggler adaptor and DLC5 Xilinx) didn't work either. I'm assuming either the pinouts for JTAG are incorrect or the flash chip is genuinely dead lol.You must have a lot of space to store this lot!

Haven't visited many retro stores in past year, but last week finally we checked one of stores in FL and found T2 for Genesis (Megadrive in europe).
Something I purchased last month arrived 10 days earlier. here are pics... After putting it together, it was time to try it... Time to try something that required SDRAM... ClassicWB on MiSTer FPGA worked fine, but I had trouble with MiSTer shared folder, which did not show correctly on workbench, but it was accessible after mounting through DOpus and from CLI. Will have to work bit more on this. Also for temp I will setup MT32 on MiSTer until they have more external MT32pi available in store. I did not install clock module yet, will first check what cores are using it. I am also thinking to change fan to push air through instead taking it out of MiSTer. I will review MiSTer bit more later after some use and couple of trials. At the moment biggest issue is that it does not support IPF images. Last edited by Anubis; 13 April 2021 at 16:34. |

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker for PAL(!) 3DS. Only 6 years old game release which is quite expensive and/or hard to find. Usually starts on 270EUR on eBay Luckily I've found one for 100EUR elsewhere. Prices go up like crazy on these Atlus games in Europe

First car boot for well over a year! Not much - few Wiis, xbox360, PS2s and very dodgy looking NES, SNES and original DS but did find this. I thought it was going to play the NES version but turns out (as you can see) that it is an LED version. So plays a full game of Galaga in jerky vision - wonderful! Even captures your ship to double fire power and has challenging stages!

I have something similar with Bubble Bobble inside, but it is a poor NES version, even stripped down to 1player.

I was just recently gifted a USB floppy drive and a sealed box of 10 HD floppies. I tried plugging it into my pc under Windows and it came straight up and ready to use.

So bought a gdemu to replace the drive and had to buy one of these. Although sender (from Amazon) didn't bother wrapping the parcel and just stuck the label directly on the box! Never had that before - what an idiot. You don't bu something boxed to have it damaged because the sender couldn't be bother to protect it properly in transport. NOT HAPPY.
Guess which game I'm playing now... |
