Most Amiga owners understand more than you seem to give them credit for. Most Amiga titles and all system ROMs are also copyrighted. However, just like the Arch scene, most can also be found for free by a simple search. Also, like the Arch scene, some Amiga titles (and all system ROMs) are still sold, and in such cases, the more responsible users will buy them instead of distributing them online, and will remove them from sites like the Zone when they're found to be on sale somewhere. Arch isn't particularly special here.

'the more responsible users' don't appear to be the norm among your fellow Amiga fanatics ...
Now, if you did not like my remark : sit on it and spin. |

@Zarchos: If you have decided to spam any thread where an opportunity arises to denigrate other members, then you won't be here for much longer and all your contentious posts will be removed.
You can sit, stand up or lie down for this one; just stop trolling! |

You won't be seeing Zarchos around here anymore; he was permanently banned shorty after his post above
...but he was also banned due to numerous stuff in other threads plus threats towards EAB / the moderation team via PM. Zarchos was a troublemaker and into bashing everything "Amiga"; not to mention members here, at every given opportunity. |

Are we allowed to make requests? I would really love to play Provocator (Archimedes) again, but this thing seems to be rarer than hens teeth. I have it on my ebay watch list, and it hasn't once appeared in almost 10 years. Does anyone have a rip of it?

Could someone reupload Ballarena? I want an ADF version of that game to load in Arculator because I can't convert the current disk image I have and it won't fully work on my RasPI for some reason.
Screen goes weird when I try to play it. |

Hi guys.
Sorry for reviving this thread but I wanted to know if anyone of you have the following preserved as well: The full version of wavelength by Tom cooper A game I heard of called dropship Another called arcturus, possibly two other of which I know next to nothing called quark and Quazer. If anyone here’s interested I had bought in the past: A cd of starfighter 3000 other worlds release (I think it also contains sunburst and elite) A CD of shmup anthology from 4th dimension containing nevryon and techno dream Last edited by starlord; 14 November 2020 at 04:11. |

Does anyone have an adf or apd for Ballarena? Someone posted earlier in this thread that they had an unprotected version that they uploaded to the Zone, but it's long gone.

So, is there some repo or collection which has stuff not present in TOSEC (Aldebaran, etc...)?

For anyone who still cares, here is a decent archive of a lot of Archimedes games:
http://arcarc.nl/archive/Games/ Many of the disk protection methods have been disabled on a lot of the games here. |

In exchange I can offer you any images you may be missing or can even trade for some original Archimedes disks I have (all boxed with instructions): Ballarena (only works with RISC OS 2) Zelanites (only works with RISC OS 2) High Risc Racing Saloon Cars Deluxe E-Type 2 Stunt Racer 2000 Wavelength Sally & Wally (disk + cover + instructions, no box) |

Blood Sport Zip File Broken
Thank you for the link. I appreciate your help. Unfortunately every copy of the "Blood Sport.zip" file I have located on the Internet using Google, when I try to unzip the file, using my usual Windows OS compression applications (WinZip, WinRAR, 7-Zip etc.), it fails with an error message: "The compressed (Zipped) folder... is invalid."

You need to unzip them on an actual Archimedes, not Windows. Use the !Spark application on an Arc.

Matt Black Software Collection
Back in the late 80s, and into the early 90s, I ran two small UK mail-order software companies called Matt Black and Atomic Software.
We published clip art packs under the Matt Black brand, and games under the Atomic Software brand, for the Acorn Archimedes and Risc PC range of computer systems. We published these games: Aggressor Blood Sport Bobbie Blockhead Vs The Dark Planet Spheres of Chaos Blood Sport is missing from my Archimedes retro game collection. An ADF file of the Blood Sport game would help me complete my collection. Thanks to anyone who has a working copy that you could share with me. |

I wish I could help (used like hell A3000/A5000 at the past, my really golden era) alas my current RISC-OS emulator (on Linux) is screwed up , !ArcFS does not run and !SparkFS freezes the system , it's looong time anyway since I run RISC-OS. I m sure I have somewhere... a 'working' System .. ok it's a bit of total mess here. What I can tell is this "zip" (I did a search and found that game as zip) is definitely NOT ZIP ! It is missing the PK signature on the header, I have a feeling it's ArcFS or something like this, it's just someone just put a '.zip' there because it was an 'archive' , you know the problems of transferring files in-out the RISC-OS ecosystem heh Last edited by xc8; 19 June 2024 at 12:12. yeah! the older version of !SparkFS managed to un-archive that file, issue is after a while displays a message about configuring the system's memory then goes back to desktop (I used the A5000/ARM3 config , it may be uncompatible with that..)
